Swedish language courses by SIMON & SIMON have been honed down to give you the greatest progress and value for money.

While we offer learning options on both a 1:1 and group basis, we find that most of our learners benefit most from 1 to 1 language training courses.

Group training offers great value for money, but the commitment and organisation to ensure the participants all show up at the same time every week is a trade-off. We recommend no more than 6 participants in a group otherwise the quality of the learning will drop dramatically for all learners.

Chelmsford Swedish Course Management

Every SIMON & SIMON language course is overseen by one of our highly experienced Account Managers, all of whom are multi-lingual.

At the start of your Swedish language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. You will also receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, featuring a superb prize draw and invaluable weblinks to language learning sources.

SIMON & SIMON’s network is completely international, with a strong presence across the UK. Swedish language courses have been arranged with our experienced language teachers in almost any major city around the world. Wherever you are located, our teachers can either meet you in your office, at one of our locations, in the comfort of your home or anywhere you like by running it through Skype!

Chelmsford Swedish Course Schedules

We run our language courses all year long and can happen anytime between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday. Weekend courses may also be negotiated with your teacher.

Sessions are typically 90 minutes long with at least one session per week. This can be increased or reduced according to your personal schedule.

And if you have an urgency to learn Swedish, you can take part in an intensive Swedish language course which consists of 6 hours every day Monday – Friday giving you 30 hours per week.

We do not run standardised Swedish language courses. Instead, one of our multi-lingual Account Managers will speak to you directly and tailor the course to your particular objectives. Your teacher then guides you through your learning at the pace and in the direction that you yourself help to set.

This means that whether you’re an absolute beginning looking to “just survive” in Sweden, or if you are a professional who wishes to understand the nuances of the language in order to perform better in a law, banking, finance, insurance, sales, travel, marketing or administration context, you will be able to find what you need with SIMON & SIMON’s Swedish language courses.

We can also help you with pronunciation, translations, presentation skills and cultural training to help you better participate in the entirety of Swedish culture.

Importantly, if you are looking to sit any kind of Swedish language examinations, we can assist in your preparations and guide you through the necessary revision. We pride ourselves on achieving a 95% pass rate – which really comes down to the personal 1 to 1 language training from highly experiences Swedish language teachers.

We will also assist in the registration and administration of these exams and can also handle the issuing of result certificates.

Swedish is a North Germanic language, spoken by approximately 10 million people, predominantly in Sweden and parts of Finland, especially along its coast and on the Åland islands. It is, to a considerable extent, mutually intelligible with Norwegian and to a lesser extent with Danish. Along with the other North Germanic languages, Swedish is a descendant of Old Norse, the common language of the Germanic peoples living in Scandinavia during the Viking Era. It is currently the largest of the North Germanic languages by numbers of speakers.

Chelmsford is the county town of Essex, England, and the principal settlement of the borough of Chelmsford. It is located in the London commuter belt, approximately 32 miles (51 km) north east of Charing Cross, London, and approximately the same distance from the once provincial Roman capital at Colchester. The town currently has a population of approximately 102,400. The main conurbation incorporates all or part of the former parishes of: Broomfield, Great Baddow, Moulsham, Widford and Springfield, including Springfield Barnes, now more commonly know as Chelmer Village.
