Swedish Language Courses in Bournemouth

You have a choice of either a 1:1 or group sessions. Most of our clients use 1:1, however the group sessions can also be of good value. The group session numbers should be kept to 6 or less for the teacher to give good quality 1:1 time to each student. Those who take the 1:1 course will experience quicker progression as the lessons can be fully tailored to your every need.

Swedish Course Management

Each course at SIMON & SIMON is overseen by one of our highly professional, experienced and multi-lingual Account Managers. Prior to the course you are sent a profile of your Swedish teacher stating their experience and background which is then followed by a Course Plan, course materials and a Progress Report after every 30 – 40 hours of training.

We have a global network of language trainers enabling us to arrange your Swedish course in almost any major European city, or even further abroad. You have the option of your Swedish language lesson taking place in the comfort of your own home or at your office to minimise travel. Bournemouth Swedish Course Schedules

Our Swedish courses run throughout the year. The vast majority of our students take part in at least one 90-minute lesson a week but many will attend more than one session, if work commitments allow. The Swedish programmes run between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Our lessons are also available at weekends on request. We also run intensive Swedish language courses which are 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday. This can be held on clients’ premises or at a residential centre in within Bournemouth.

Before you start your course you will be assessed on your level of Swedish and we will discuss what you would like to focus on. Your ultimate goal may be to just gain every day Swedish skills or it may be more advanced like gaining the ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing. Swedish Language Examination Courses

We can provide support in preparing for your Swedish language examinations as well as any other type of Swedish language examination. We are extremely proud of the 95% pass rate of our students in language examinations and we believe this shows the value of working with Swedish teachers with above-average experience. Swedish is a North Germanic language, spoken by approximately 10 million people, predominantly in Sweden and parts of Finland, especially along its coast and on the Åland islands. It is, to a considerable extent, mutually intelligible with Norwegian and to a lesser extent with Danish. Along with the other North Germanic languages, Swedish is a descendant of Old Norse, the common language of the Germanic peoples living in Scandinavia during the Viking Era. It is currently the largest of the North Germanic languages by numbers of speakers.
