In depth: Our Romanian Courses for Business in Greater Manchester

Romanian Teaching Approach & Experience

Both professionals and non-professionals alike have seen great benefits from a SIMON & SIMON Romanian Language Course. SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified Romanian teachers is made up of native speakers who average 15 years of experience. These teachers will make sure that a course is tailored for your specific needs so that you will benefit regardless of your language proficiency. Feedback from clients on our Romanian tutors is consistently highly positive. Our students are sent a profile containing information on their specific teacher’s experience and background before the start of their Romanian Lessons.

If the only experience you have of studying a language is from your time in school, you may not know that there has been a revolution in the teaching of modern languages so that it is both more fun and more worthwhile. Your Romanian teacher in Greater Manchester will be using the Communicative Approach, where your lessons will, with few exceptions, be conducted in Romanian. You will see your progress from that very first lesson and will soon be confident enough to conduct business or talk socially in Romanian.

1:1 and Group Romanian Courses in Greater Manchester

Our Romanian language courses are available on both a 1:1 and group basis, but the majority of our clients offer 1:1 Romanian training to their employees. However, with careful planning, group training can offer great value for money, provided there is a real commitment from the participants to get together at the same time every week. We strongly recommend you keep group numbers to 6 or less for these types of courses to be successful. Those learning Romanian in Greater Manchester on a 1:1 basis will naturally make much faster progress, as the course will be designed around their individual needs and focus on their particular strengths and weaknesses.

Romanian Course Management

Every SIMON & SIMON Romanian language course has a highly experienced, multi-lingual Account Manager who oversees it. When your Romanian course starts you will be sent a profile on your trainer, materials for your course and a Course Plan as well as a Progress Report for every 40 hours of training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter that you will also receive, contains a prize draw as well as weblinks to a number of learning resources.

About Greater Manchester

Greater Manchester is a metropolitan county in North West England, with a population of 2.6 million. It encompasses one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United Kingdom and comprises ten metropolitan boroughs: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan, and the cities of Manchester and Salford. Greater Manchester was created on 1 April 1974 as a result of the Local Government Act 1972.

Greater Manchester spans 496 square miles (1,285 km2). It is landlocked and borders Cheshire (to the south-west and south), Derbyshire (to the south-east), West Yorkshire (to the north-east), Lancashire (to the north) and Merseyside (to the west). There is a mix of high density urban areas, suburbs, semi-rural and rural locations in Greater Manchester, but overwhelmingly the land use is urban. It has a focused central business district, formed by Manchester city centre and the adjoining parts of Salford and Trafford, but Greater Manchester is also a polycentric county with ten metropolitan districts, each of which has at least one major town centre and outlying suburbs.

The Greater Manchester Urban Area is the third most populous conurbation in the UK, and spans across most of the county’s territory. For the 12 years following 1974 the county had a two-tier system of local government; district councils shared power with the Greater Manchester County Council.
