In order to help you plan your learning, we run our courses throughout the year and let you choose your own schedule. Our hours of operation are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, but we can schedule weekend lessons upon request. The majority of our students take at least one 90-minute lesson per week, though many schedule more lessons in order to progress more rapidly. We also offer an intensive course which consists of 6-hour lessons from Monday to Friday, totalling 30 hours of training in a week. This, as with our other lessons, can be arranged at your home or your workplace.

English Course Content

Before you begin your learning, we will assess your current grasp of the English language and will discuss your personal goals with you. These could be learning conversational English for travel purposes or the mastery of business English in order to conquer the boardroom. Whichever the case, we will design bespoke course content that will allow you to reach your goals effectively, and enjoy your learning in the process.

English Language Examination Courses

We are also able to offer assistance with preparations for English examinations. Thanks to our tutor’s impeccable experience, our students’ pass rate is an impressive 95%. In addition to preparation, we can register you for the examination, administer the examination, and issue you with your results when they arrive.

About English

English is a derivative of the west-Germanic languages spoken by the Anglo-Saxons in the medieval kingdom of Northumbria. In this form, it spread up to parts of what is now Scotland. The language moved onto an international scale in the 18th century under the British Empire and its influence on fields such as politics, science, warfare, economics, and culture. The influence on the same fields by the USA in the 20th century further promoted the popularity of English. Today it is widely spoken by many nations as a first or second language, and it is the common language of international communication. In fact, the amount of native English speakers is only exceeded by speakers of Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

About Reading

The county town of Berkshire, Reading is a very important town in England. Located at the meeting of the Thames and Kennet rivers, Reading has long been an establishment in the UK. Believed to date back to the 8th century, Reading was a medieval trading point before becoming the location of a renowned abbey. Though thriving beforehand, the English Civil War affected the town, leading to a decline in its expansion. However, the 19th century saw an upturn in industry through the help of the Great Western Railway as well as the town’s seed-growing, baking, and brewing efforts.

Today, the town of Reading is a thriving hub of business and technology, and is the site of one of the UK’s most famous cultural events – the Reading Festival.
