1:1 and Group Arabic Courses
At SIMON & SIMON, we offer group Arabic language courses, as well as 1 to 1 courses. We also offer an intensive Arabic Language Course based in London. Majority of our clients decide to take 1:1 Arabic training because this inevitably sees faster and better results. This is because the teacher can carefully focus on your individual needs and strengths in a 1 to 1 setting.
However, many of our clients organise group classes – especially teams within a company who all need to communicate in Arabic. Arabic group courses can offer value for money and can be beneficial by increasing peer-to-peer learning. We strongly suggest that you do not have a group larger than 6 otherwise it becomes difficult to learn effectively.
When you contact us, an Account Manager will talk to you about your course and help you choose one that works for your purposes. Our Account Managers are multi-lingual and extremely friendly.
They will also send through to you a trainer profile, your various materials and progress reports, and any other administration that is required in order for you to start learning your new language as soon as possible.
Arabic Course Locations & Schedules
While SIMON & SIMON is highly equipped to supply experienced and private Arabic language trainers in the UK such as London, we also have a worldwide network that can help you. Our teacher will come to your workplace or your home, eliminating any need from your end to travel.
You can also have your Arabic language course held online, or at one of our Central London facilities. Our teachers will remain flexible in order to ensure your course suits you best.
Each lesson is typically 90 minutes long, and each week our learners usually take at least 1 lesson per week. Depending on your personal schedule, you can of course do more than this – and many do! Our most intensive Arabic language courses run 6 hours every day, Monday – Friday, which means you get 30 hours of training a week!
Arabic teachers are available any time of the year, and lessons are usually organised between 8am – 8pm on weekdays. However, we can work out weekend courses as well, if it is requested.
SIMON & SIMON has arranged Arabic language courses for clients in numerous locations, and with our global network of language trainers we can organise an Arabic language course for you wherever you are – in almost any major city in the UK, Europe and beyond.
The vast majority of our Arabic lessons take place at our clients’ offices, removing the need for you to travel, but Arabic lessons can take place in your home if that is more convenient.
We can also arrange full-time residential Arabic language courses for you – just contact our office for information on available destinations.
Arabic Course Schedules
Our Arabic language courses run throughout the year. The majority of our students attend at least one 90-minute session per week and many students will try to do more than one session depending on work commitments.
Our Arabic teachers are available Monday – Friday from 8am – 6pm, and Weekend Courses can also be arranged on request.
Our intensive Arabic language courses run for 30 hours per week, (6 hours per day Monday – Friday), and take place on our clients’ premises or at a residential centre here in the UK or abroad.
Arabic Course Content
Before we even start thinking about what content you will be learning, we first have a thorough discussion with you about what kind of Arabic language course you are looking for. We also assess what level your Arabic ability is at and what subject areas you would like to focus on.
Whether you are completely new to the language, or you are already fluent and would like to pick up some more specific vocabulary, we have Arabic language trainers who are proficient in a range of areas to help you.
Our Account Manager will be in touch as soon as you enquire with us to find out your needs and direct you into a bespoke course that achieves your goals. Once we have organised your goals and your trainer, your Account Manager will send you your Arabic trainer’s profile (which includes their qualifications and expertise) and all the course materials that you need. Every 40 hours, we will also deliver to you a progress report.
As a final note – if you are looking to sit any Arabic examinations or are hoping for some Arabic language examination courses specifically, then we are here to help. Our students achieve a 95% pass rate because we only hire the most experienced teachers who help you with every stage fo the process.
We will be able to help you not only with applying for and revising for your examination, but we can also assist in the issuing of your certificate as well.
Assess Your Arabic Level
The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions across the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their Arabic language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise Arabic in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.
