Duolingo’s Most Popular Languages to Learn

If you haven’t yet heard about Duolingo, it is an app that gamifies the task of language learning. If you are planning to learn a language, or are already learning one, you may want to check it out to augment your language course.

With 120 million users around the world learning 19 different languages, you can expect that they have gathered a lot of data!

Earlier this year, they took some of that data and produced some interesting charts about the popularity of languages and discovered some other fascinating trends.

It’s no surprise to us that English language training dominates – our own experience definitely shows that English language learning is far and away the most popular language course.

Which makes a lot of sense since English has clearly been the language of global business for a long time and most likely will.
