Vietnamese Courses for Business in PoolePlease click a title below for further information: Designed and customised for the individual student’s needs, SIMON & SIMON’s Vietnamese courses, taught by a team of qualified native Vietnamese speakers who average 15 years of experience, have already benefited professionals and non-professionals across the UK. Courses cater for all levels of experience.
The feedback on our Vietnamese tutors that we receive from our clients is consistently excellent. Prior to the start of your Vietnamese course, you will be sent a profile on your specific Vietnamese teacher’s experience and background. Modern language teaching is now approached much differently to how you might remember learning languages in school. The experience is now much more fun and rewarding.
The Communicative Approach, where your Vietnamese teacher will conduct your lessons almost entirely in Vietnamese means that progress is made from your very first lesson. Soon, you will have such confidence that using Vietnamese in a social or business setting will be no problem. The Vietnamese courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Vietnamese training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week.
If you require faster progress, 1:1 Vietnamese courses at Poole are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths. Vietnamese Course ManagementSIMON & SIMON’s Vietnamese language courses all have a specific Account Manager who oversee the course. Each of these managers is highly experienced and multi-lingual.
At the start of your Vietnamese course, you will receive a profile on your trainer, course materials and a Course Plan. After every 40 hours of training you will receive a Progress Report. We will send you our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, which contains a wonderful prize draw as well as weblinks to valuable language learning resources. SIMON & SIMON’s Vietnamese language courses have been run for clients in many different locations. With a global network of language trainers a Vietnamese language course can be held in almost any major city throughout Europe and elsewhere.
We can arrange Vietnamese language courses in your home or, as many of our clients prefer, in your offices to remove the need for you to travel.
Full-time residential Vietnamese language courses are also an option. For a list of locations, please contact our office.

Weekend Courses in Vietnamese can be arranged on request. Our Vietnamese courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday.
30 hour per week intensive Vietnamese courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday. We will tailor your Vietnamese language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Vietnamese language course we will assess your goals and level of Vietnamese experience.
Your desire to learn Vietnamese may be simply to develop basic skills, or you may have some level of proficiency and wish to increase your ability to use Vietnamese to discuss business.
You may want to develop your language skills so that you can use Vietnamese in negotiations and meetings or improve your pronunciation and telephone skills.
No matter what goals you have, you can be confident of our Vietnamese trainers experience and that your Vietnamese language course is tailored to your needs and your goals will be quickly met. Vietnamese Language Examination CoursesOur students’ pass rate for Vietnamese examinations is at 95%, and we are happy to help with the preparations for any such examination. Our high pass rate shows the value of working with Vietnamese teachers in Poole who have a higher level of experience than average.
SIMON & SIMON also arrange registration for Vietnamese examinations as well as administering the examination and issuing the results. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Vietnamese Courses Poole Vietnamese is the national and official language of Vietnam. It is the mother tongue of 86% of Vietnam's population, and of about three million overseas Vietnamese. It is also spoken as a second language by many ethnic minorities of Vietnam. It is part of the Austro-Asiatic language family, of which it has the most speakers by a significant margin (several times larger than the other Austroasiatic languages put together). Much of Vietnamese vocabulary has been borrowed from Chinese, most notably Cantonese, especially words that denote abstract ideas (in the same way European languages borrow from Latin and Greek), and it was formerly written using the Chinese writing system, albeit in a modified format and was given vernacular pronunciation. Poole is a large coastal town and seaport in the county of Dorset, on the south coast of England. The town is 32 kilometres (20 mi) east of Dorchester, and Bournemouth adjoins Poole to the east. The Borough of Poole was made a unitary authority in 1997, gaining administrative independence from Dorset County Council. The town had a population of 138,288 according to the 2001 census, making it the second largest settlement in Dorset.
Human settlement in the area dates back to before the Iron Age. The earliest recorded use of the town’s name was in the 12th century when the town began to emerge as an important port, prospering with the introduction of the wool trade. In later centuries the town had important trade links with North America and at its peak in the 18th century it was one of the busiest ports in Britain. During the Second World War the town was one of the main departing points for the D-Day landings of the Normandy Invasion.
Poole is a tourist resort, attracting visitors with its large natural harbour, history, the Poole Arts Centre and Blue Flag beaches. The town has a busy commercial port with cross-Channel freight and passenger ferry services. The headquarters of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) are located in Poole, and the Royal Marines have a base in the town's harbour. Despite their names, Poole is the home of The Arts University College at Bournemouth, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and a significant part of Bournemouth University.
