Northumberland Vietnamese Course Schedules

Our Vietnamese language courses in Northumberland go on all year. Some of our students attend more than one 90-minute weekly session if work circumstances allow, and most will attend at least one per week. Weekend Courses in Vietnamese can be arranged on request. Our Vietnamese courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday. 30 hour per week intensive Vietnamese courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Before you start your Vietnamese language course we will assess your goals and level of Vietnamese experience. Vietnamese Language Examination Courses

Our students’ pass rate for Vietnamese examinations is at 95%, and we are happy to help with the preparations for any such examination. Vietnamese is the national and official language of Vietnam. It is the mother tongue of 86% of Vietnam's population, and of about three million overseas Vietnamese. It is also spoken as a second language by many ethnic minorities of Vietnam. It is part of the Austro-Asiatic language family, of which it has the most speakers by a significant margin (several times larger than the other Austroasiatic languages put together). Much of Vietnamese vocabulary has been borrowed from Chinese, most notably Cantonese, especially words that denote abstract ideas (in the same way European languages borrow from Latin and Greek), and it was formerly written using the Chinese writing system, albeit in a modified format and was given vernacular pronunciation.

Northumberland is the northernmost ceremonial county and a unitary district in the North East of England. It borders Cumbria to the west, County Durham to the south and Tyne and Wear to the south east, as well as having a border with the Scottish Borders council area to the north, and a North Sea coastline of outstanding natural beauty with a 103 km long distance path.
