Vietnamese Courses for Business in CumbriaPlease click a title below for further information: Many professionals in companies across the UK, as well as private individuals, have benefited from an Vietnamese Language Course with SIMON & SIMON. We have a terrific team of qualified native-speaker Vietnamese teachers, and with an average of 15 years' experience they will ensure you benefit from a course designed specifically around your needs, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced learner with more specialised requirements.
We consistently receive excellent feedback on our Vietnamese tutors from our clients, and we send our students a profile on their Vietnamese tutor prior to their Vietnamese lessons commencing, with information on the tutor's background and experience. Modern language teaching is now approached much differently to how you might remember learning languages in school. The experience is now much more fun and rewarding.
The Communicative Approach, where your Vietnamese teacher will conduct your lessons almost entirely in Vietnamese means that progress is made from your very first lesson. Soon, you will have such confidence that using Vietnamese in a social or business setting will be no problem. Vietnamese courses from us can be run for groups or individuals. While many of our clients offer their employees Vietnamese courses on a 1:1 basis, group sessions can be excellent value. Group sessions do require planning and commitment from the participants and we recommend that no more than 6 people participate in a group.
As 1:1 lessons can be tailored to an individual’s needs, strengths and weaknesses, learning Vietnamese in Cumbria on a 1:1 basis will give quicker progress. Vietnamese Course ManagementEach of SIMON & SIMON’s Vietnamese languages courses is the responsibility of a multi-lingual, very experienced Account Manager.
When you start your Vietnamese course, you will receive your trainer’s profile. Thereafter we will send you a Course Plan, materials for the course and, after each 40 hours of training, a Progress Report. Our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, will also reach you, and contains a prize draw as well as the weblinks of language learning resources. SIMON & SIMON has arranged Vietnamese language courses for clients in numerous locations, and with our global network of language trainers we can organise a Vietnamese language course for you wherever you are - in almost any major city in the UK, Europe and beyond.
The vast majority of our Vietnamese lessons take place at our clients' offices, removing the need for you to travel, but Vietnamese lessons can take place in your home if that is more convenient.
We can also arrange full-time residential Vietnamese language courses for you - just contact our office for information on available destinations. Cumbria Vietnamese Course SchedulesOur Vietnamese language courses in Cumbria run throughout the year. The majority of our students attend at least one 90-minute session per week and many students will try to do more than one session depending on work commitments.
Our Vietnamese teachers are available Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm, and Weekend Courses can also be arranged on request.
Our intensive Vietnamese language courses run for 30 hours per week, (6 hours per day Monday - Friday), and take place on our clients' premises or at a residential centre here in the UK or abroad. The content of your Vietnamese language course will reflect your level and your particular objectives. We will assess your Vietnamese language level before your course, and discuss with you in detail the subject areas you wish to focus on.
You may be a complete beginner looking for day-to-day Vietnamese survival language skills, or a more proficient Vietnamese speaker needing to improve your fluency when discussing areas such as law, banking, finance, insurance, sales, travel, marketing, and administration.
You may want to focus on improving your Vietnamese for meetings, discussions and negotiations, or to concentrate on improving your listening comprehension, pronunciation and telephone skills.
Whatever your needs, working with one of our highly experienced Vietnamese language trainers you can be confident that the content of your Vietnamese language course will be tailored just for you and that you will soon be meeting your objectives. Vietnamese Language Examination CoursesWe can also help prepare you for Vietnamese examinations of a business or general nature. We are proud to say our students have a 95% pass rate in language examinations, and their success further underlines the value we place on working with Vietnamese teachers in Cumbria with above average experience.
As part of our service, SIMON & SIMON will also organise the registration and administration of Vietnamese examinations and the issuing of result certificates. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Vietnamese Courses Cumbria Vietnamese is the national and official language of Vietnam. It is the mother tongue of 86% of Vietnam's population, and of about three million overseas Vietnamese. It is also spoken as a second language by many ethnic minorities of Vietnam. It is part of the Austro-Asiatic language family, of which it has the most speakers by a significant margin (several times larger than the other Austroasiatic languages put together). Much of Vietnamese vocabulary has been borrowed from Chinese, most notably Cantonese, especially words that denote abstract ideas (in the same way European languages borrow from Latin and Greek), and it was formerly written using the Chinese writing system, albeit in a modified format and was given vernacular pronunciation. Cumbria is a non-metropolitan county in North West England, United Kingdom. Cumbria, and a new local authority called Cumbria County Council, came into existence as a county in 1974 after the passage of the Local Government Act 1972. The county consists of six districts, and in 2008 had a total population of just under half a million. Cumbria as a whole is one of the most sparsely populated counties in the UK with 73.4 people per km2 (190/sq mi). Despite this, the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness has a population density over twelves times this at 921/km2 (2,385.3/sq mi).
Cumbria, the third largest ceremonial county in England by area, is bounded to the north by the Scottish council area of Dumfries and Galloway, to the west by the Irish Sea, to the south by Lancashire, to the southeast by North Yorkshire, and to the east by County Durham and Northumberland.
A predominantly rural county, Cumbria contains the Lake District and associated Lake District National Park, considered one of the most beautiful areas of England. The area has provided inspiration for generations of British and foreign artists, writers and musicians. Much of the county is mountainous, and it contains every peak in England over 900 metres (3,000 ft) above sea level, with Scafell Pike at 978 metres (3,209 ft) being the highest point in England. Long existing as an upland, coastal and rural area, Cumbria's heritage is characterised by a broad number of invasions, migration and settlement.
