Vietnamese Courses for Business in BirminghamPlease click a title below for further information: Private individuals and professionals in companies all over the UK have profited from undertaking a Vietnamese Language Course with SIMON & SIMON. Averaging 15 years of experience, our native Vietnamese speaking qualified teachers construct your course so that your individual requirements are met, no matter what your level of experience.
Our Vietnamese teachers receive excellent feedback from our clients. A profile, containing information about the Vietnamese teacher’s background and experience, is sent to each student before the Vietnamese lessons start.
Modern language teaching is now approached much differently to how you might remember learning languages in school. The experience is now much more fun and rewarding.
The Communicative Approach, where your Vietnamese teacher will conduct your lessons almost entirely in Vietnamese means that progress is made from your very first lesson. Soon, you will have such confidence that using Vietnamese in a social or business setting will be no problem. Vietnamese courses from us can be run for groups or individuals. While many of our clients offer their employees Vietnamese courses on a 1:1 basis, group sessions can be excellent value. Group sessions do require planning and commitment from the participants and we recommend that no more than 6 people participate in a group.
As 1:1 lessons can be tailored to an individual’s needs, strengths and weaknesses, learning Vietnamese in Birmingham on a 1:1 basis will give quicker progress. Vietnamese Course ManagementEvery SIMON & SIMON Vietnamese language course is overseen by one of our highly experienced Account Managers, all of whom are multi-lingual.
At the start of your Vietnamese language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. You will also receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, featuring a superb prize draw and invaluable weblinks to language learning sources. The Vietnamese language courses of SIMON & SIMON have been run in numerous locations. As we have a global network of language trainers your Vietnamese language course can be arranged in major cities across Europe and further afield.
Most of our clients arrange for their Vietnamese lessons to be run in their offices so that there is less need for travel, but we can also run Vietnamese lessons in your home.
We also run residential full-time Vietnamese language courses in a variety of locations which our office will be happy to inform you of. Birmingham Vietnamese Course SchedulesWe run Vietnamese language courses in Birmingham all year. Most of our students participate in no less than one 90-minute lesson per week, but many students will participate in more if work commitments allow.
Weekend Courses can be facilitated, and our Vietnamese weekday courses run from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm.
Intensive Vietnamese language courses are also available and can be run at the client’s premises or a residential centre in the UK or overseas. These courses take place over 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, for 30 hours per week. Your Vietnamese language course’s content will be tailored to your experience and goals. Prior to the course, we will assess your Vietnamese language level and speak to you comprehensively about the areas and subjects you are interested in.
Students may be complete novices who need everyday Vietnamese conversational skills or have more proficiency in Vietnamese and wish to be able to discuss various business topics such as banking or finance more fluently.
Students may desire to bolster their Vietnamese for negotiations and meetings or focus on gaining better listening, pronunciation and comprehension skills.
No matter what your needs, you can be confident that our very experienced Vietnamese language trainers will work with you on a Vietnamese language course that is tailored for you so that you quickly meet your goals. Vietnamese Language Examination CoursesVietnamese examination preparation for business or other examinations can also be assisted with. Our students boast a 95% rate of passing such examinations, proving the value of our policy of Vietnamese teachers in Birmingham with experience above the average.
SIMON & SIMON also organises registration and administration of Vietnamese examinations as well as issuing results certificates as a part of our service. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Vietnamese Courses Birmingham Vietnamese is the national and official language of Vietnam. It is the mother tongue of 86% of Vietnam's population, and of about three million overseas Vietnamese. It is also spoken as a second language by many ethnic minorities of Vietnam. It is part of the Austro-Asiatic language family, of which it has the most speakers by a significant margin (several times larger than the other Austroasiatic languages put together). Much of Vietnamese vocabulary has been borrowed from Chinese, most notably Cantonese, especially words that denote abstract ideas (in the same way European languages borrow from Latin and Greek), and it was formerly written using the Chinese writing system, albeit in a modified format and was given vernacular pronunciation. Birmingham is a city and metropolitan borough in the West Midlands county of England. It is the most populous British city outside London, with a population of 1,028,700 (2009 estimate), and lies at the heart of the West Midlands conurbation, the United Kingdom's second most populous urban area with a population of 2,284,093 (2001 census). Birmingham's metropolitan area, which includes surrounding towns to which it is closely tied through commuting, is also the United Kingdom's second most populous with a population of 3,683,000.
Birmingham was a powerhouse of the Industrial Revolution in England, a fact which led to it being known as "the workshop of the world" or the "city of a thousand trades". Although Birmingham's industrial importance has declined, it has developed into a national commercial centre, being named in 2010 as the third-best place in the United Kingdom to locate a business. Birmingham is a national hub for conferences, retail and events along with an established high tech, research and development sector, supported by its three Universities. It is also the fourth-most visited city by foreign visitors in the UK, has the second-largest city economy in the UK. Birmingham is ranked as a gamma- world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network.
In 2010, Birmingham was ranked as the 55th-most livable city in the world, according to the Mercer Index of worldwide standards of living.
