Turkish Courses for Business in Ipswich

Please click a title below for further information:

Private individuals and professionals in companies all over the UK have profited from undertaking a Turkish Language Course with SIMON & SIMON. Averaging 15 years of experience, our native Turkish speaking qualified teachers construct your course so that your individual requirements are met, no matter what your level of experience. Our Turkish teachers receive excellent feedback from our clients. A profile, containing information about the Turkish teacher’s background and experience, is sent to each student before the Turkish lessons start.

If the only experience you have of studying a language is from your time in school, you may not know that there has been a revolution in the teaching of modern languages so that it is both more fun and more worthwhile. Your Turkish teacher in Ipswich will be using the Communicative Approach, where your lessons will, with few exceptions, be conducted in Turkish. You will see your progress from that very first lesson and will soon be confident enough to conduct business or talk socially in Turkish.

The Turkish courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Turkish training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week. If you require faster progress, 1:1 Turkish courses at Ipswich are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths.

Turkish Course Management

One of our highly experienced, multilingual Account managers oversees each SIMON & SIMON Turkish language course. On starting your Turkish course you will receive various materials including a profile on your trainer, a Course Plan and course materials and a Progress Report on every 40 hours of your training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter, which contains weblinks to various language learning sources and a prize draw, will also be sent to you.

Turkish language courses have been run by SIMON & SIMON in many locations. Our global network of language trainers means that any major city in the UK Europe, and beyond can hold your Turkish language course. We can arrange your Turkish language lessons for your own home, but many of our clients like to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel. Residential full-time Turkish language courses are also available. Our office can discuss available locations with you.

Ipswich Turkish Course Schedules

Our Turkish language courses in Ipswich go on all year. Some of our students attend more than one 90-minute weekly session if work circumstances allow, and most will attend at least one per week. Weekend Courses in Turkish can be arranged on request. Our Turkish courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday. 30 hour per week intensive Turkish courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

We will tailor your Turkish language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Turkish language course we will assess your goals and level of Turkish experience. Your desire to learn Turkish may be simply to develop basic skills, or you may have some level of proficiency and wish to increase your ability to use Turkish to discuss business. You may want to develop your language skills so that you can use Turkish in negotiations and meetings or improve your pronunciation and telephone skills. No matter what goals you have, you can be confident of our Turkish trainers experience and that your Turkish language course is tailored to your needs and your goals will be quickly met.

Turkish Language Examination Courses

Our students’ pass rate for Turkish examinations is at 95%, and we are happy to help with the preparations for any such examination. Our high pass rate shows the value of working with Turkish teachers in Ipswich who have a higher level of experience than average. SIMON & SIMON also arrange registration for Turkish examinations as well as administering the examination and issuing the results.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Back to top of Turkish Courses Ipswich

Turkish is spoken as a native language by over 83 million people worldwide, making it the most commonly spoken of the Turkic languages. Its speakers are located predominantly in Turkey and Northern Cyprus with smaller groups in Iraq, Greece, Bulgaria, the Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and other parts of Eastern Europe. Turkish is also spoken by several million immigrants in Western Europe, particularly in Germany.

Ipswich is a non-metropolitan district and the county town of Suffolk, England. It is located on the estuary of the River Orwell. Nearby towns are Felixstowe in Suffolk and Harwich and Colchester in Essex. The town of Ipswich overspills the borough boundaries significantly, with only 85% of the town's population living within the borough at the time of the 2001 Census, when it was the third-largest settlement in the United Kingdom's East of England region, and the 38th largest urban area in England. The modern name is derived from the medieval name, 'Gippeswick' (also spelt 'Gipewiz', 'Gepeswiz', or 'Gypeswiz') is probably taken from the River Gipping which is the name of the non-tidal section of the River Orwell. As of 2007, the borough of Ipswich is estimated to have a population of approximately 128,000 inhabitants. Under the Roman empire, the area around Ipswich formed an important route inland to rural towns and settlements via the rivers Orwell and Gipping. A large Roman fort, part of the coast defences of Britain, stood at Walton near Felixstowe (13 miles, 21 km), and the largest villa in Suffolk (possibly an administrative complex) stood at Castle Hill (north-west Ipswich).
