Derbyshire Turkish Course Schedules

We run our Turkish language courses in Derbyshire all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly. We also arrange weekend Turkish courses on request. Our Turkish programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Intensive 30 hour per week Turkish language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday.

Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your Turkish course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of Turkish and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on. You may desire simply to gain everyday Turkish skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in Turkish and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing. You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your Turkish for use in negotiations and meetings. If you are taking a Turkish examination, for business or other reasons, we are happy to help you with your preparations. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Turkish is spoken as a native language by over 83 million people worldwide, making it the most commonly spoken of the Turkic languages.
