Thai Courses for Business in YorkshirePlease click a title below for further information: Both professionals and non-professionals alike have seen great benefits from a SIMON & SIMON Thai Language Course. SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified Thai teachers is made up of native speakers who average 15 years of experience. These teachers will make sure that a course is tailored for your specific needs so that you will benefit regardless of your language proficiency.
Feedback from clients on our Thai tutors is consistently highly positive. Our students are sent a profile containing information on their specific teacher’s experience and background before the start of their Thai Lessons. The way that modern languages are taught has gone through a revolution in the past few years. If you have only learned languages at school you will find that the experience now is vastly more fun and worthwhile.
The Communicative Approach means that your Thai lessons in Yorkshire will be almost entirely through the medium of Thai. You will feel that you are making real progress, even in the first lesson, and will soon communicate in Thai with confidence, in a range of social and business environments. Our Thai language courses are available on both a 1:1 and group basis, but the majority of our clients offer 1:1 Thai training to their employees. However, with careful planning, group training can offer great value for money, provided there is a real commitment from the participants to get together at the same time every week. We strongly recommend you keep group numbers to 6 or less for these types of courses to be successful.
Those learning Thai in at Yorkshire on a 1:1 basis will naturally make much faster progress, as the course will be designed around their individual needs and focus on their particular strengths and weaknesses. Thai Course ManagementEvery SIMON & SIMON Thai language course has a highly experienced, multi-lingual Account Manager who oversees it.
When your Thai course starts you will be sent a profile on your trainer, materials for your course and a Course Plan as well as a Progress Report for every 40 hours of training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter that you will also receive, contains a prize draw as well as weblinks to a number of learning resources. The Thai language courses of SIMON & SIMON have been run in numerous locations. As we have a global network of language trainers your Thai language course can be arranged in major cities across Europe and further afield.
Most of our clients arrange for their Thai lessons to be run in their offices so that there is less need for travel, but we can also run Thai lessons in your home.
We also run residential full-time Thai language courses in a variety of locations which our office will be happy to inform you of. Yorkshire Thai Course SchedulesOur Thai language courses in Yorkshire go on all year. Some of our students attend more than one 90-minute weekly session if work circumstances allow, and most will attend at least one per week.
Weekend Courses in Thai can be arranged on request. Our Thai courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday.
30 hour per week intensive Thai courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday. We will tailor your Thai language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Thai language course we will assess your goals and level of Thai experience.
Your desire to learn Thai may be simply to develop basic skills, or you may have some level of proficiency and wish to increase your ability to use Thai to discuss business.
You may want to develop your language skills so that you can use Thai in negotiations and meetings or improve your pronunciation and telephone skills.
No matter what goals you have, you can be confident of our Thai trainers experience and that your Thai language course is tailored to your needs and your goals will be quickly met. Thai Language Examination CoursesOur students’ pass rate for Thai examinations is at 95%, and we are happy to help with the preparations for any such examination. Our high pass rate shows the value of working with Thai teachers in Yorkshire who have a higher level of experience than average.
SIMON & SIMON also arrange registration for Thai examinations as well as administering the examination and issuing the results. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Thai Courses Yorkshire Thai is the national and official language of Thailand and the native language of the Thai people, Thailand's dominant ethnic group. Thai is a member of the Tai group of the Tai-Kadai language family. Historical linguists have been unable to definitively link the Tai-Kadai languages to any other language family. Some words in Thai are borrowed from Pali, Sanskrit and Old Khmer. It is a tonal and analytic language. Thai also has a complex orthography and relational markers. Thai is mutually intelligible with Lao, whereas the Isaan dialect is almost the same as Lao. Yorkshire s a historic county of northern England and the largest in the United Kingdom. Because of its great size in comparison to other English counties, functions have been increasingly undertaken over time by its subdivisions, which have also been subject to periodic reform. Throughout these changes, Yorkshire has continued to be recognized as a geographical territory and cultural region. The name is familiar and well understood across the United Kingdom and is in common use in the media and the military, and also features in the titles of current areas of civil administration, such as Yorkshire and the Humber and West Yorkshire
Within the borders of the historic county of Yorkshire are areas which are widely considered to be among the greenest in England, due to the vast stretches of unspoiled countryside in the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors and to the open aspect of some of the major cities
