Winchester Thai Course Schedules

Our Thai language courses in Winchester go on all year. Some of our students attend more than one 90-minute weekly session if work circumstances allow, and most will attend at least one per week. Weekend Courses in Thai can be arranged on request. Our Thai courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday. 30 hour per week intensive Thai courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

We will tailor your Thai language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Thai language course we will assess your goals and level of Thai experience. Thai is the national and official language of Thailand and the native language of the Thai people, Thailand's dominant ethnic group. Thai is a member of the Tai group of the Tai-Kadai language family. Historical linguists have been unable to definitively link the Tai-Kadai languages to any other language family. Some words in Thai are borrowed from Pali, Sanskrit and Old Khmer. It is a tonal and analytic language. Thai also has a complex orthography and relational markers.
