Nottinghamshire Thai Course Schedules

We run Thai language courses in Nottinghamshire all year. Most of our students participate in no less than one 90-minute lesson per week, but many students will participate in more if work commitments allow. Weekend Courses can be facilitated, and our Thai weekday courses run from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Thai language courses are also available and can be run at the client’s premises or a residential centre in the UK or overseas. These courses take place over 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, for 30 hours per week.

Your Thai language course’s content will be tailored to your experience and goals. Prior to the course, we will assess your Thai language level and speak to you comprehensively about the areas and subjects you are interested in. Students may be complete novices who need everyday Thai conversational skills or have more proficiency in Thai and wish to be able to discuss various business topics such as banking or finance more fluently. Students may desire to bolster their Thai for negotiations and meetings or focus on gaining better listening, pronunciation and comprehension skills. No matter what your needs, you can be confident that our very experienced Thai language trainers will work with you on a Thai language course that is tailored for you so that you quickly meet your goals.

Thai Language Examination Courses

Thai examination preparation for business or other examinations can also be assisted with. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. Thai is the national and official language of Thailand and the native language of the Thai people, Thailand's dominant ethnic group. Thai is a member of the Tai group of the Tai-Kadai language family. Historical linguists have been unable to definitively link the Tai-Kadai languages to any other language family. Some words in Thai are borrowed from Pali, Sanskrit and Old Khmer. It is a tonal and analytic language. Thai also has a complex orthography and relational markers. Thai is mutually intelligible with Lao, whereas the Isaan dialect is almost the same as Lao.

Nottinghamshire is an English county in the East Midlands, which borders South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. The county town is traditionally Nottingham, though the council is now based in West Bridgford, a suburb of Greater Nottingham (at a site facing Nottingham City over the River Trent). The districts of Nottinghamshire are Ashfield, Bassetlaw, Broxtowe, Gedling, Mansfield, Newark and Sherwood, and Rushcliffe. The City of Nottingham was administratively part of Nottinghamshire between 1974 and 1998 but is now a unitary authority although it remains part of the historic and ceremonial county.
