Thai Courses for Business in MerseysidePlease click a title below for further information: Private individuals and professionals in companies all over the UK have profited from undertaking a Thai Language Course with SIMON & SIMON. Averaging 15 years of experience, our native Thai speaking qualified teachers construct your course so that your individual requirements are met, no matter what your level of experience.
Our Thai teachers receive excellent feedback from our clients. A profile, containing information about the Thai teacher’s background and experience, is sent to each student before the Thai lessons start.
If the only experience you have of studying a language is from your time in school, you may not know that there has been a revolution in the teaching of modern languages so that it is both more fun and more worthwhile.
Your Thai teacher in Merseyside will be using the Communicative Approach, where your lessons will, with few exceptions, be conducted in Thai. You will see your progress from that very first lesson and will soon be confident enough to conduct business or talk socially in Thai. We offer Thai courses as group sessions or on a 1:1 basis/ Most of our clients offer their employees 1:1 Thai training, however, if planned carefully, with participants numbering 6 or less who commit to meeting every week, group sessions can be good value for money.
Those who learn Thai at Merseyside on a 1:1 basis will find that they progress more quickly, as the lessons can be specifically tailored for their individual needs, strengths and weaknesses. Thai Course ManagementEvery SIMON & SIMON Thai language course has a highly experienced, multi-lingual Account Manager who oversees it.
When your Thai course starts you will be sent a profile on your trainer, materials for your course and a Course Plan as well as a Progress Report for every 40 hours of training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter that you will also receive, contains a prize draw as well as weblinks to a number of learning resources. We have a global network of language trainers so our Thai language courses can be arranged for almost any major European city, or even further abroad. SIMON & SIMON have run Thai language courses for clients in many diverse locations.
Thai language courses can be run in your home for your convenience, but many of our clients prefer to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel.

Merseyside Thai Course SchedulesOur Thai language courses in Merseyside take place throughout the year. Many of our students try to attend more than one weekly lesson if work commitments allow, and most will attend at least one session of 90-minutes duration per week.
If you would like a Weekend Course, one can be arranged. Our Thai daytime courses run from 8am through to 8pm, Monday - Friday.
We also provide Intensive Thai language courses on clients’ premises or in residential centres both in the UK and abroad. These courses run for 30 hours of the week, 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday. The Thai language course that you undertake will be customised for your Thai level and personal goals. Before you start the course, we will speak to you about your desired focus and assess you Thai level.
You may have little or no experience of Thai and only want basic conversational skills or you may be more proficient and desire more fluency with which to discuss business.
You may want to raise your Thai skills for use in meetings and negotiations or rather develop increased comprehension and pronunciation skills.
Whatever your objectives, our Thai language trainers are highly experienced, and you can be confident that your personalised Thai course will help you to meet your goals quickly. Thai Language Examination CoursesSIMON & SIMON also assists in preparation for Thai examinations, whether for business or personal qualification. We believe that our 95% pass rate for language examinations is a reflection of our policy of working with Thai teachers in Merseyside who possess above average experience.
Registration for and administration of Thai examinations, along with the issuing of results certificates are all provided by SIMON & SIMON. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Thai Courses Merseyside Thai is the national and official language of Thailand and the native language of the Thai people, Thailand's dominant ethnic group. Thai is a member of the Tai group of the Tai-Kadai language family. Historical linguists have been unable to definitively link the Tai-Kadai languages to any other language family. Some words in Thai are borrowed from Pali, Sanskrit and Old Khmer. It is a tonal and analytic language. Thai also has a complex orthography and relational markers. Thai is mutually intelligible with Lao, whereas the Isaan dialect is almost the same as Lao. Merseyside is a metropolitan county in North West England, with a population of 1,365,900. Taking its name from the River Mersey, Merseyside came into existence as a metropolitan county in 1974, after the passage of the Local Government Act 1972, and the county consists of five metropolitan boroughs adjoining the Mersey Estuary, including the City of Liverpool. Merseyside County Council was abolished in 1986, and so its districts (the metropolitan boroughs) are now effectively unitary authorities. However, the metropolitan county is still recognised for ceremonial and administrative purposes.
Merseyside is divided into two parts by the Mersey Estuary: the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral is located to the west of the estuary on the Wirral Peninsula; the rest of the county is located on the eastern side of the estuary. The eastern boroughs of Merseyside border Lancashire to the north and Greater Manchester to the east, and both parts of Merseyside, west and east of the estuary, border Cheshire to the south.
The territory comprising the county of Merseyside previously consisted of the county boroughs of Birkenhead, Wallasey, Liverpool, Bootle, Southport and St Helens. Birkenhead and Wallasey were part of the county of Cheshire, whilst Liverpool, Bootle, Crosby, Formby, Southport and St Helens were part of the county of Lancashire.
