Thai Course Management

We have a global network of trainers and wherever you are, we will be able to organise a Thai language course for you, not only in the UK but in almost any of the major cities in Europe and beyond. Most of our Thai courses are run at the offices of our clients so that you do not have to travel, but we are happy to arrange Thai training sessions for you in your home. Buckinghamshire Thai Course Schedules

Our Thai language courses in Buckinghamshire go on all year. Some of our students attend more than one 90-minute weekly session if work circumstances allow, and most will attend at least one per week. Weekend Courses in Thai can be arranged on request. Our Thai courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday. 30 hour per week intensive Thai courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

We will tailor your Thai language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Thai language course we will assess your goals and level of Thai experience. Your desire to learn Thai may be simply to develop basic skills, or you may have some level of proficiency and wish to increase your ability to use Thai to discuss business. You may want to develop your language skills so that you can use Thai in negotiations and meetings or improve your pronunciation and telephone skills. Thai Language Examination Courses

Our students’ pass rate for Thai examinations is at 95%, and we are happy to help with the preparations for any such examination. Our high pass rate shows the value of working with Thai teachers in Buckinghamshire who have a higher level of experience than average. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Thai is the national and official language of Thailand and the native language of the Thai people, Thailand's dominant ethnic group. Thai is a member of the Tai group of the Tai-Kadai language family. Historical linguists have been unable to definitively link the Tai-Kadai languages to any other language family. Some words in Thai are borrowed from Pali, Sanskrit and Old Khmer. It is a tonal and analytic language. Thai also has a complex orthography and relational markers. Thai is mutually intelligible with Lao, whereas the Isaan dialect is almost the same as Lao.

Buckinghamshire archaically the County of Buckingham; abbreviated Bucks) is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan home county in South East England. The county town is Aylesbury, the largest town in the ceremonial county is Milton Keynes and largest town in the non-metropolitan county is High Wycombe.
