Nottingham Spanish Course Schedules

Our Spanish language courses in Nottingham take place throughout the year. Many of our students try to attend more than one weekly lesson if work commitments allow, and most will attend at least one session of 90-minutes duration per week. If you would like a Weekend Course, one can be arranged. Our Spanish daytime courses run from 8am through to 8pm, Monday - Friday. We also provide Intensive Spanish language courses on clients’ premises or in residential centres both in the UK and abroad. These courses run for 30 hours of the week, 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday.

The Spanish language course that you undertake will be customised for your Spanish level and personal goals. Before you start the course, we will speak to you about your desired focus and assess you Spanish level. You may have little or no experience of Spanish and only want basic conversational skills or you may be more proficient and desire more fluency with which to discuss business. You may want to raise your Spanish skills for use in meetings and negotiations or rather develop increased comprehension and pronunciation skills. Spanish Language Examination Courses

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Spanish is a Romance language in the Ibero-Romance group that evolved from several languages and dialects in the central-north of Iberia during the 9th century and gradually spread with the expansion of the Kingdom of Castile into central and southern Iberia during the later Medieval period. Nottingham is a city and unitary authority area in the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom. It is located in the ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire, and is one of eight members of the English Core Cities Group.
