The vast majority of our Spanish lessons take place at our clients' offices, removing the need for you to travel, but Spanish lessons can take place in your home if that is more convenient. Chester Spanish Course Schedules

We run Spanish language courses in Chester all year. Most of our students participate in no less than one 90-minute lesson per week, but many students will participate in more if work commitments allow. Weekend Courses can be facilitated, and our Spanish weekday courses run from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Spanish language courses are also available and can be run at the client’s premises or a residential centre in the UK or overseas. These courses take place over 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, for 30 hours per week.

Your Spanish language course’s content will be tailored to your experience and goals. Prior to the course, we will assess your Spanish language level and speak to you comprehensively about the areas and subjects you are interested in. Students may be complete novices who need everyday Spanish conversational skills or have more proficiency in Spanish and wish to be able to discuss various business topics such as banking or finance more fluently. Students may desire to bolster their Spanish for negotiations and meetings or focus on gaining better listening, pronunciation and comprehension skills. Spanish Language Examination Courses

Spanish examination preparation for business or other examinations can also be assisted with. Spanish is a Romance language in the Ibero-Romance group that evolved from several languages and dialects in the central-north of Iberia during the 9th century and gradually spread with the expansion of the Kingdom of Castile into central and southern Iberia during the later Medieval period. In 1999, there were 358 million people speaking Spanish as a native language and a total of 417 million speakers worldwide. As of 2010 these figures are up to 400 and 500 million people respectively. Spanish is the second most natively spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese. Mexico contains the largest population of Spanish speakers. Spanish is one of the six official languages of the United Nations.

Chester is a city in Cheshire, England. Lying on the River Dee, close to the border with Wales, it is home to 77,040 inhabitants, and is the largest and most populous settlement of the wider unitary authority area of Cheshire West and Chester, which had a population of 328,100 according to the 2001 Census. Chester was granted city status in 1541. Chester was founded as a "castrum" or Roman fort with the name Deva Victrix in the year 79 by the Roman Legio II Adiutrix during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian. Chester's four main roads, Eastgate, Northgate, Watergate and Bridge, follow routes laid out at this time – almost 2,000 years ago. One of the three main Roman army bases, Deva later became a major settlement in the Roman province of Britannia. After the Romans left in the 5th century, the Saxons fortified the town against the Danes and gave Chester its name. The patron saint of Chester, Werburgh, is buried in Chester Cathedral. Chester was one of the last towns in England to fall to the Normans in the Norman conquest of England. William the Conqueror ordered the construction of a castle, to dominate the town and the nearby Welsh border. In 1071 he created Hugh d'Avranches, the 1st Earl of Chester. Chester has a number of medieval buildings, but some of the black-and-white buildings within the city centre are actually Victorian restorations.
