We strongly recommend you keep group numbers to 6 or less for these types of courses to be successful. Spanish Course Management

Each of SIMON & SIMON’s Spanish languages courses is the responsibility of a multi-lingual, very experienced Account Manager. When you start your Spanish course, you will receive your trainer’s profile. Thereafter we will send you a Course Plan, materials for the course and, after each 40 hours of training, a Progress Report. Our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, will also reach you, and contains a prize draw as well as the weblinks of language learning resources.

Spanish language courses have been run by SIMON & SIMON in many locations. Our global network of language trainers means that any major city in the UK Europe, and beyond can hold your Spanish language course. We can arrange your Spanish language lessons for your own home, but many of our clients like to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel. Brighton Spanish Course Schedules

The Spanish language courses in Brighton that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Spanish courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Spanish language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Spanish language course we will assess your level of Spanish and speak to you about your aims so that your Spanish language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Spanish before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Spanish when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Spanish in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Whatever goals you may have, our experienced Spanish language trainers will tailor your Spanish course so that your goals can be quickly met.

Spanish Language Examination Courses

We are happy to help in your preparation for any Spanish examinations. Issuing of results certificates, registration for Spanish examinations and administration of such exams is also provided by SIMON & SIMON.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Spanish is a Romance language in the Ibero-Romance group that evolved from several languages and dialects in the central-north of Iberia during the 9th century and gradually spread with the expansion of the Kingdom of Castile into central and southern Iberia during the later Medieval period. In 1999, there were 358 million people speaking Spanish as a native language and a total of 417 million speakers worldwide. As of 2010 these figures are up to 400 and 500 million people respectively.
