Slovak Course Management

One of our highly experienced, multilingual Account managers oversees each SIMON & SIMON Slovak language course. On starting your Slovak course you will receive various materials including a profile on your trainer, a Course Plan and course materials and a Progress Report on every 40 hours of your training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter, which contains weblinks to various language learning sources and a prize draw, will also be sent to you.

The Slovak language courses of SIMON & SIMON have been run in numerous locations. As we have a global network of language trainers your Slovak language course can be arranged in major cities across Europe and further afield. Most of our clients arrange for their Slovak lessons to be run in their offices so that there is less need for travel, but we can also run Slovak lessons in your home. We also run residential full-time Slovak language courses in a variety of locations which our office will be happy to inform you of.

London Slovak Course Schedules

Our Slovak language courses in London take place throughout the year. Many of our students try to attend more than one weekly lesson if work commitments allow, and most will attend at least one session of 90-minutes duration per week. If you would like a Weekend Course, one can be arranged. Our Slovak daytime courses run from 8am through to 8pm, Monday - Friday. We also provide Intensive Slovak language courses on clients’ premises or in residential centres both in the UK and abroad. These courses run for 30 hours of the week, 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday.

The Slovak language course that you undertake will be customised for your Slovak level and personal goals. Before you start the course, we will speak to you about your desired focus and assess you Slovak level. You may have little or no experience of Slovak and only want basic conversational skills or you may be more proficient and desire more fluency with which to discuss business. You may want to raise your Slovak skills for use in meetings and negotiations or rather develop increased comprehension and pronunciation skills. Whatever your objectives, our Slovak language trainers are highly experienced, and you can be confident that your personalised Slovak course will help you to meet your goals quickly.

Slovak Language Examination Courses

SIMON & SIMON also assists in preparation for Slovak examinations, whether for business or personal qualification. Registration for and administration of Slovak examinations, along with the issuing of results certificates are all provided by SIMON & SIMON.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.
