Slovak Courses for Business in Doncaster

All over the UK, private individuals and professionals in a variety of companies have gained benefits by taking part in a Slovak Language Course from SIMON & SIMON. With an average of 15 years’ experience, the native Slovak speakers of SIMON & SIMON’s qualified teaching team tailor each course for the specific requirements of the student, from absolute novices to those with some experience. Our clients reliably give excellent feedback on our Slovak teachers. Each of our students receives an information profile on the background and experience of their Slovak teacher before they commence their Slovak lessons.

If the only experience you have of studying a language is from your time in school, you may not know that there has been a revolution in the teaching of modern languages so that it is both more fun and more worthwhile. Your Slovak teacher in Doncaster will be using the Communicative Approach, where your lessons will, with few exceptions, be conducted in Slovak. You will see your progress from that very first lesson and will soon be confident enough to conduct business or talk socially in Slovak.

Our Slovak courses are usually offered by our clients as 1:1 training for their employees. Group sessions, however, are also available and can be excellent value for money. Planning is required so that participants all meet at the same time each week, and we recommend that numbers are kept to 6 or less. 1:1 Slovak lessons at Doncaster mean that you will have your individual needs, weaknesses and strengths catered for, so that your progress is quicker.

Slovak Course Management

Every SIMON & SIMON Slovak language course has a highly experienced, multi-lingual Account Manager who oversees it. When your Slovak course starts you will be sent a profile on your trainer, materials for your course and a Course Plan as well as a Progress Report for every 40 hours of training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter that you will also receive, contains a prize draw as well as weblinks to a number of learning resources.

Slovak language courses have been run by SIMON & SIMON in many locations. Our global network of language trainers means that any major city in the UK Europe, and beyond can hold your Slovak language course. We can arrange your Slovak language lessons for your own home, but many of our clients like to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel. Residential full-time Slovak language courses are also available. Our office can discuss available locations with you.

Doncaster Slovak Course Schedules

The Slovak language courses in Doncaster that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can also arrange Weekend Courses for you. Slovak courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Slovak language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Slovak language course we will assess your level of Slovak and speak to you about your aims so that your Slovak language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Slovak before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Slovak when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Slovak in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Whatever goals you may have, our experienced Slovak language trainers will tailor your Slovak course so that your goals can be quickly met.

Slovak Language Examination Courses

We are happy to help in your preparation for any Slovak examinations. Our students have a 95% pass rate and we think that their success shows the value of our policy of working with above-average experienced Slovak teachers in Doncaster. Issuing of results certificates, registration for Slovak examinations and administration of such exams is also provided by SIMON & SIMON.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Doncaster is a town in South Yorkshire, England, and the principal settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster. The town is about 20 miles (32 km) from Sheffield and is popularly referred to as "Donny". Doncaster has an international airport, and in recent years its centre has undergone regeneration including the development of an Education City campus, currently the largest education investment of its kind in the UK. Doncaster has also recently extended the Frenchgate Centre, a shopping centre and transport interchange. According to the 2001 census, the urban sub-area of Doncaster had a population of 67,977. Together with Bentley and Armthorpe, it forms an urban area with a population of 127,851. The wider metropolitan borough has a population of around 286,866. In 2010, Doncaster was named the UK's ninth "most musical" city by PRS for Music. Doncaster is located at 53°31′N 1°8′W ― the site of a Roman fort which was built in the 1st century AD at the site of a crossing across the River Don. The Roman empirical command of Ninius called this fort "Caer Daun". Later the commands of Antoninus Pius and Notitia Dignitatum called this fort Danum, from which the town derives the Don part of its name; caster a Saxon word corrupted from the Latin original Castra, meaning a military camp. Doncaster was home to the Roman Crispinian horse garrison. The cavalry took its name from Crispus, son of Constantine the Great.
