If the only experience you have of studying a language is from your time in school, you may not know that there has been a revolution in the teaching of modern languages so that it is both more fun and more worthwhile. Serbian Course Management

Most of our Serbian courses are run at the offices of our clients so that you do not have to travel, but we are happy to arrange Serbian training sessions for you in your home. Nottinghamshire Serbian Course Schedules

Our Serbian language courses in Nottinghamshire go on all year. Some of our students attend more than one 90-minute weekly session if work circumstances allow, and most will attend at least one per week. Weekend Courses in Serbian can be arranged on request. Our Serbian courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday. 30 hour per week intensive Serbian courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

We will tailor your Serbian language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Serbian language course we will assess your goals and level of Serbian experience. Your desire to learn Serbian may be simply to develop basic skills, or you may have some level of proficiency and wish to increase your ability to use Serbian to discuss business. You may want to develop your language skills so that you can use Serbian in negotiations and meetings or improve your pronunciation and telephone skills. No matter what goals you have, you can be confident of our Serbian trainers experience and that your Serbian language course is tailored to your needs and your goals will be quickly met.

Serbian Language Examination Courses

Our students’ pass rate for Serbian examinations is at 95%, and we are happy to help with the preparations for any such examination. Our high pass rate shows the value of working with Serbian teachers in Nottinghamshire who have a higher level of experience than average. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Serbian is a form of Serbo-Croatian spoken by Serbs in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and neighbouring countries. There are two principal Serbian dialects, Shtokavian and Torlakian. The literary and standard language is based on Shtokavian, which is also the basis of Standard Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin. Serbian is standardized around Sumadija-Vojvodina and Eastern Herzegovinian subdialects of Shtokavian. Apart from Shtokavian, the Torlak dialect, transitional to Macedonian and Bulgarian, is spoken in southeast Serbia.

Nottinghamshire is an English county in the East Midlands, which borders South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. The county town is traditionally Nottingham, though the council is now based in West Bridgford, a suburb of Greater Nottingham (at a site facing Nottingham City over the River Trent). The districts of Nottinghamshire are Ashfield, Bassetlaw, Broxtowe, Gedling, Mansfield, Newark and Sherwood, and Rushcliffe. The City of Nottingham was administratively part of Nottinghamshire between 1974 and 1998 but is now a unitary authority although it remains part of the historic and ceremonial county. Over half of the population of the county live in the conurbation of Greater Nottingham Core City Area which also spreads into Derbyshire. The conurbation has a population of about 650,000, though less than half live within the city boundaries.
