Courses cater for all levels of experience.
The feedback on our Serbian tutors that we receive from our clients is consistently excellent. Prior to the start of your Serbian course, you will be sent a profile on your specific Serbian teacher’s experience and background. Maybe your only knowledge of studying languages is what you remember from school. Modern language teaching has recently changed to be much more entertaining and rewarding.
Your Serbian lessons in Cambridgeshire will be carried out almost completely in Serbian. This is the Communicative Approach and by this method you will notice progress from the initial lesson. You will soon feel confident and able to use Serbian to communicate in various business and social situations. Our Serbian language courses are available on both a 1:1 and group basis, but the majority of our clients offer 1:1 Serbian training to their employees. However, with careful planning, group training can offer great value for money, provided there is a real commitment from the participants to get together at the same time every week. We strongly recommend you keep group numbers to 6 or less for these types of courses to be successful.
Those learning Serbian in at Cambridgeshire on a 1:1 basis will naturally make much faster progress, as the course will be designed around their individual needs and focus on their particular strengths and weaknesses. Serbian Course ManagementEach of SIMON & SIMON’s Serbian languages courses is the responsibility of a multi-lingual, very experienced Account Manager.
When you start your Serbian course, you will receive your trainer’s profile. Thereafter we will send you a Course Plan, materials for the course and, after each 40 hours of training, a Progress Report. Our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, will also reach you, and contains a prize draw as well as the weblinks of language learning resources. The Serbian language courses of SIMON & SIMON have been run in numerous locations. As we have a global network of language trainers your Serbian language course can be arranged in major cities across Europe and further afield.
Most of our clients arrange for their Serbian lessons to be run in their offices so that there is less need for travel, but we can also run Serbian lessons in your home.
We also run residential full-time Serbian language courses in a variety of locations which our office will be happy to inform you of. Cambridgeshire Serbian Course SchedulesOur Serbian language courses in Cambridgeshire run throughout the year. The majority of our students attend at least one 90-minute session per week and many students will try to do more than one session depending on work commitments.
Our Serbian teachers are available Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm, and Weekend Courses can also be arranged on request.
Our intensive Serbian language courses run for 30 hours per week, (6 hours per day Monday - Friday), and take place on our clients' premises or at a residential centre here in the UK or abroad. The content of your Serbian language course will reflect your level and your particular objectives. We will assess your Serbian language level before your course, and discuss with you in detail the subject areas you wish to focus on.
You may be a complete beginner looking for day-to-day Serbian survival language skills, or a more proficient Serbian speaker needing to improve your fluency when discussing areas such as law, banking, finance, insurance, sales, travel, marketing, and administration.
You may want to focus on improving your Serbian for meetings, discussions and negotiations, or to concentrate on improving your listening comprehension, pronunciation and telephone skills.
Whatever your needs, working with one of our highly experienced Serbian language trainers you can be confident that the content of your Serbian language course will be tailored just for you and that you will soon be meeting your objectives. Serbian Language Examination CoursesWe can also help prepare you for Serbian examinations of a business or general nature. We are proud to say our students have a 95% pass rate in language examinations, and their success further underlines the value we place on working with Serbian teachers in Cambridgeshire with above average experience.
As part of our service, SIMON & SIMON will also organise the registration and administration of Serbian examinations and the issuing of result certificates. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Serbian Courses Cambridgeshire Serbian is a form of Serbo-Croatian spoken by Serbs in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and neighbouring countries. There are two principal Serbian dialects, Shtokavian and Torlakian. The literary and standard language is based on Shtokavian, which is also the basis of Standard Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin. Serbian is standardized around Sumadija-Vojvodina and Eastern Herzegovinian subdialects of Shtokavian. Apart from Shtokavian, the Torlak dialect, transitional to Macedonian and Bulgarian, is spoken in southeast Serbia. Cambridgeshire is a former United Kingdom Parliamentary constituency. It was a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of England then of the Parliament of Great Britain from 1707 to 1800 and of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1801 to 1885. It was represented by two Knights of the Shire until 1832, when the number of members was increased to three. It was divided between the constituencies of Chesterton, Newmarket and Wisbech in 1885.
The parliamentary county was again reconstituted in 1918. In 1983, when the redistribution of seats took place on the basis of the expanded post-1974 Cambridgeshire, the constituency was divided between the new constituencies of North East Cambridgeshire (including a small part of Peterborough), South East Cambridgeshire and South West Cambridgeshire (including a minority of territory from the former Huntingdonshire).
The historic county of Cambridgeshire. (Although Cambridgeshire contained the borough of Cambridge, which elected two MPs in its own right, this was not excluded from the county constituency, and owning property within the borough could confer a vote at the county election.
