At the start of your Serbian language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. Buckingham Serbian Course Schedules

The Serbian language courses in Buckingham that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Serbian courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Serbian language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Serbian language course we will assess your level of Serbian and speak to you about your aims so that your Serbian language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Serbian before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Serbian when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Serbian in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Serbian Language Examination Courses

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Serbian is a form of Serbo-Croatian spoken by Serbs in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and neighbouring countries. There are two principal Serbian dialects, Shtokavian and Torlakian. The literary and standard language is based on Shtokavian, which is also the basis of Standard Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin. Serbian is standardized around Sumadija-Vojvodina and Eastern Herzegovinian subdialects of Shtokavian. Apart from Shtokavian, the Torlak dialect, transitional to Macedonian and Bulgarian, is spoken in southeast Serbia.

Buckingham is a town situated in north Buckinghamshire, England, approximately 10 miles (16.1 km) from the border with Northamptonshire. The town has a population of 11,572 (United Kingdom Census 2001), (2007 est. 13,200). Buckingham is also a civil parish designated as a town council. Historically, Buckingham was the county town of Buckinghamshire having been declared so in the in the 10th century when it was made the capital of the newly-formed shire of Buckingham until Aylesbury took over this role early in the 18th century. Buckingham has a variety of restaurants and pubs, typical of a small market town. It has a small number of local shops, both national and independent. Market days are Tuesday and Saturday, with a farmers' market held on the first Tuesday of each month. Buckingham is twinned with Mouvaux, France.
