We have a global network of trainers and wherever you are, we will be able to organise a Russian language course for you, not only in the UK but in almost any of the major cities in Europe and beyond. Most of our Russian courses are run at the offices of our clients so that you do not have to travel, but we are happy to arrange Russian training sessions for you in your home. Worcestershire Russian Course Schedules

The Russian language courses in Worcestershire that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Russian courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Russian language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Russian language course we will assess your level of Russian and speak to you about your aims so that your Russian language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Russian before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Russian when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Russian in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Whatever goals you may have, our experienced Russian language trainers will tailor your Russian course so that your goals can be quickly met.

Russian Language Examination Courses

We are happy to help in your preparation for any Russian examinations. Our students have a 95% pass rate and we think that their success shows the value of our policy of working with above-average experienced Russian teachers in Worcestershire. Issuing of results certificates, registration for Russian examinations and administration of such exams is also provided by SIMON & SIMON.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Russian is a Slavic language used primarily in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. It is an unofficial but widely spoken language in Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia and, to a lesser extent, the other countries that were once constituent republics of the USSR. It is the most geographically widespread language of Eurasia, the most widely spoken of the Slavic languages, and the largest native language in Europe. Russian belongs to the family of Indo-European languages and is one of three (or four including Rusyn) living members of the East Slavic languages. Written examples of Old East Slavonic are attested from the 10th century onwards. The language is one of the six official languages of the United Nations.

Worcestershire is a non-metropolitan county, established in antiquity, located in the West Midlands region of central England. In 1974 it was merged with the neighbouring county of Herefordshire to form the county of Hereford and Worcester; which was divided in 1998, re-establishing Worcestershire once more as an independent entity. Following the 1998 reform the crest of the Malvern Hills forms the east–west border between the two counties, with the exception of the parish of West Malvern in Worcestershire. The county borders Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire. To the west, the county is bordered by the Malvern Hills, and the spa town of Malvern. The southern part of the county is bordered by Gloucestershire and the northern edge of the Cotswolds, and to the east is Warwickshire. There are two major rivers flowing through the county, the Severn and the Avon. The cathedral city of Worcester is the largest settlement and administrative seat of the county, which includes the principal settlements of Bromsgrove, Stourport-on-Severn, Droitwich, Evesham, Kidderminster, Malvern, and the largest town, Redditch, and a number of smaller towns such as Pershore, Tenbury Wells, and Upton upon Severn. The northern part of the county includes the beginnings of the vast urban sprawl of the industrial West Midlands agglomeration, while the remainder and the south of the county is largely rural.
