Russian Courses for Business in EssexPlease click a title below for further information: Private individuals and professionals in companies all over the UK have profited from undertaking a Russian Language Course with SIMON & SIMON. Averaging 15 years of experience, our native Russian speaking qualified teachers construct your course so that your individual requirements are met, no matter what your level of experience.
Our Russian teachers receive excellent feedback from our clients. A profile, containing information about the Russian teacher’s background and experience, is sent to each student before the Russian lessons start.
Maybe your only knowledge of studying languages is what you remember from school. Modern language teaching has recently changed to be much more entertaining and rewarding.
Your Russian lessons in Essex will be carried out almost completely in Russian. This is the Communicative Approach and by this method you will notice progress from the initial lesson. You will soon feel confident and able to use Russian to communicate in various business and social situations. Our Russian language courses are available on both a 1:1 and group basis, but the majority of our clients offer 1:1 Russian training to their employees. However, with careful planning, group training can offer great value for money, provided there is a real commitment from the participants to get together at the same time every week. We strongly recommend you keep group numbers to 6 or less for these types of courses to be successful.
Those learning Russian in at Essex on a 1:1 basis will naturally make much faster progress, as the course will be designed around their individual needs and focus on their particular strengths and weaknesses. Russian Course ManagementEvery SIMON & SIMON Russian language course is overseen by one of our highly experienced Account Managers, all of whom are multi-lingual.
At the start of your Russian language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. You will also receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, featuring a superb prize draw and invaluable weblinks to language learning sources. We have a global network of language trainers so our Russian language courses can be arranged for almost any major European city, or even further abroad. SIMON & SIMON have run Russian language courses for clients in many diverse locations.
Russian language courses can be run in your home for your convenience, but many of our clients prefer to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel.

Essex Russian Course SchedulesWe run our Russian language courses in Essex all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly.
We also arrange weekend Russian courses on request. Our Russian programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday.
Intensive 30 hour per week Russian language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday. Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your Russian course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of Russian and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on.
You may desire simply to gain everyday Russian skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in Russian and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing.
You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your Russian for use in negotiations and meetings.
Whatever your goals and needs, our highly experienced Russian language trainers will tailor your Russian course so that your goals will be met quickly. Russian Language Examination CoursesIf you are taking a Russian examination, for business or other reasons, we are happy to help you with your preparations. We are very proud of the 95% pass rate of our students in language examinations. We believe this highlights the value of working with Russian teachers in Essex whose experience is above average.
SIMON & SIMON can also register you for your Russian examination, administer the examination and issue you your results. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Russian Courses Essex Russian is a Slavic language used primarily in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. It is an unofficial but widely spoken language in Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia and, to a lesser extent, the other countries that were once constituent republics of the USSR.
It is the most geographically widespread language of Eurasia, the most widely spoken of the Slavic languages, and the largest native language in Europe. Russian belongs to the family of Indo-European languages and is one of three (or four including Rusyn) living members of the East Slavic languages. Written examples of Old East Slavonic are attested from the 10th century onwards. The language is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. Essex is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county in the East region of England, and one of the home counties. It is located to the northeast of Greater London and is one of the most populous counties in England. Essex County Council is the principal local authority for much of the county, sharing functions with twelve district councils.
The county town is Chelmsford. The southern Essex boroughs of Thurrock and Southend-on-Sea are governed separately as unitary authorities. It was established in antiquity and formed the eastern portion of the Kingdom of Essex. Sections of the county closer to London are part of the Metropolitan Green Belt, which prohibits development. It is the location of the regionally significant Lakeside Shopping Centre and London Stansted Airport; and the new towns of Basildon and Harlow.
The name Essex originates in the Anglo-Saxon period of the Early Middle Ages and has its root in the Old English Ēastseaxe (i.e. the "East Saxons"), the eastern kingdom of the Saxons.
