Romanian Courses for Business in StokePlease click a title below for further information: Designed and customised for the individual student’s needs, SIMON & SIMON’s Romanian courses, taught by a team of qualified native Romanian speakers who average 15 years of experience, have already benefited professionals and non-professionals across the UK. Courses cater for all levels of experience.
The feedback on our Romanian tutors that we receive from our clients is consistently excellent. Prior to the start of your Romanian course, you will be sent a profile on your specific Romanian teacher’s experience and background. Modern language teaching is now approached much differently to how you might remember learning languages in school. The experience is now much more fun and rewarding.
The Communicative Approach, where your Romanian teacher will conduct your lessons almost entirely in Romanian means that progress is made from your very first lesson. Soon, you will have such confidence that using Romanian in a social or business setting will be no problem. The Romanian courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Romanian training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week.
If you require faster progress, 1:1 Romanian courses at Stoke are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths. Romanian Course ManagementEvery SIMON & SIMON Romanian language course is overseen by one of our highly experienced Account Managers, all of whom are multi-lingual.
At the start of your Romanian language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. You will also receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, featuring a superb prize draw and invaluable weblinks to language learning sources. SIMON & SIMON has arranged Romanian language courses for clients in numerous locations, and with our global network of language trainers we can organise a Romanian language course for you wherever you are - in almost any major city in the UK, Europe and beyond.
The vast majority of our Romanian lessons take place at our clients' offices, removing the need for you to travel, but Romanian lessons can take place in your home if that is more convenient.
We can also arrange full-time residential Romanian language courses for you - just contact our office for information on available destinations. Stoke Romanian Course SchedulesWe run our Romanian language courses in Stoke all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly.
We also arrange weekend Romanian courses on request. Our Romanian programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday.
Intensive 30 hour per week Romanian language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday. Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your Romanian course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of Romanian and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on.
You may desire simply to gain everyday Romanian skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in Romanian and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing.
You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your Romanian for use in negotiations and meetings.
Whatever your goals and needs, our highly experienced Romanian language trainers will tailor your Romanian course so that your goals will be met quickly. Romanian Language Examination CoursesIf you are taking a Romanian examination, for business or other reasons, we are happy to help you with your preparations. We are very proud of the 95% pass rate of our students in language examinations. We believe this highlights the value of working with Romanian teachers in Stoke whose experience is above average.
SIMON & SIMON can also register you for your Romanian examination, administer the examination and issue you your results. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Romanian Courses Stoke Romanian is a Romance language spoken by around 24 to 28 million people, primarily in Romania and Moldova. It has official status in Romania, Republic of Moldova, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Serbia and in the autonomous Mount Athos in Greece. Romanian speakers are scattered across many other countries, notably Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Bulgaria, the United States, Canada, Israel, Russia, Portugal, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Stoke means "hamlet", from the Anglo-Saxon. It formed part of the ancient Forest of Mondrum. Stoke is not mentioned by name in the Domesday survey; the name was first recorded in 1260. Barbridge is mentioned in John Leland's Itinerary from a visit of 1536. The civil parish was originally a township in the ancient parish of Acton in the Nantwich Hundred; it was served by St Mary's Church, Acton. The manor was given by Randal de Praers to his son, who assumed the name Stoke, and later passed to the Beeston and Aston families. By 1622, it was held by the Minshull family of Stoke Hall. The manor was held by the Wilbraham family from 1753 to 1781, and was then sold to the Craven family.
During the Civil War, Stoke was occupied by royalist forces in December 1643, together with much of the surrounding area. In the 17th–19th centuries, the area appears to have had a substantial Quaker population; a graveyard at Stoke Grange Farm was given to the movement in 1657 and remained in use until the mid-19th century. During World War II, Stoke Manor provided accommodation for land girls.
