Belfast Romanian Course Schedules

The Romanian language courses in Belfast that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Romanian courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Romanian language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Romanian language course we will assess your level of Romanian and speak to you about your aims so that your Romanian language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Romanian before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Romanian when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Romanian in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Romanian Language Examination Courses

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Romanian is a Romance language spoken by around 24 to 28 million people, primarily in Romania and Moldova. It has official status in Romania, Republic of Moldova, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Serbia and in the autonomous Mount Athos in Greece. Belfast is the capital of and largest city in Northern Ireland, as well as the second largest city in Ireland. It is the seat of devolved government and legislative Northern Ireland Assembly.
