Your Romanian lessons in Ashford will be carried out almost completely in Romanian. This is the Communicative Approach and by this method you will notice progress from the initial lesson. You will soon feel confident and able to use Romanian to communicate in various business and social situations. The Romanian courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Romanian training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week.
If you require faster progress, 1:1 Romanian courses at Ashford are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths. Romanian Course ManagementEvery SIMON & SIMON Romanian language course has a highly experienced, multi-lingual Account Manager who oversees it.
When your Romanian course starts you will be sent a profile on your trainer, materials for your course and a Course Plan as well as a Progress Report for every 40 hours of training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter that you will also receive, contains a prize draw as well as weblinks to a number of learning resources. Our global network of language trainers means that any major city in the UK Europe, and beyond can hold your Romanian language course.
We can arrange your Romanian language lessons for your own home, but many of our clients like to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel.

Ashford Romanian Course SchedulesOur Romanian language courses in Ashford take place throughout the year. Many of our students try to attend more than one weekly lesson if work commitments allow, and most will attend at least one session of 90-minutes duration per week.
If you would like a Weekend Course, one can be arranged. Our Romanian daytime courses run from 8am through to 8pm, Monday - Friday.
We also provide Intensive Romanian language courses on clients’ premises or in residential centres both in the UK and abroad. These courses run for 30 hours of the week, 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday. The Romanian language course that you undertake will be customised for your Romanian level and personal goals. Before you start the course, we will speak to you about your desired focus and assess you Romanian level.
You may have little or no experience of Romanian and only want basic conversational skills or you may be more proficient and desire more fluency with which to discuss business.
You may want to raise your Romanian skills for use in meetings and negotiations or rather develop increased comprehension and pronunciation skills.
Whatever your objectives, our Romanian language trainers are highly experienced, and you can be confident that your personalised Romanian course will help you to meet your goals quickly. Romanian Language Examination CoursesSIMON & SIMON also assists in preparation for Romanian examinations, whether for business or personal qualification. We believe that our 95% pass rate for language examinations is a reflection of our policy of working with Romanian teachers in Ashford who possess above average experience.
Registration for and administration of Romanian examinations, along with the issuing of results certificates are all provided by SIMON & SIMON. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Romanian Courses Ashford Romanian is a Romance language spoken by around 24 to 28 million people, primarily in Romania and Moldova. It has official status in Romania, Republic of Moldova, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Serbia and in the autonomous Mount Athos in Greece. Romanian speakers are scattered across many other countries, notably Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Bulgaria, the United States, Canada, Israel, Russia, Portugal, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Ashford is a town in the borough of Ashford in Kent, England. In 2005 it was voted the fourth best place to live in the United Kingdom. It lies on the Great Stour river, the M20 motorway, and the South Eastern Main Line and High Speed 1 railways. Its agricultural market is one of the most important in the county. Ashford is a relatively common English place-name: it goes back to Old English æscet, indicating a ford near a clump of ash-trees.
As a market town, Ashford has for centuries been a local communications hub for surrounding villages and has stood at the centre of five railway lines, (Ashford to Ramsgate (via Canterbury West) line, Swanley to Ashford (via Maidstone East) Line, South Eastern Main Line, Kent Coast Line and the Marshlink Line) since the 19th century and with the opening of the International Passenger Station is now an important European communications centre, with new lines running between London and the Channel Tunnel (via High Speed 1).
