Both professionals and non-professionals alike have seen great benefits from a SIMON & SIMON Polish Language Course. SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified Polish teachers is made up of native speakers who average 15 years of experience. These teachers will make sure that a course is tailored for your specific needs so that you will benefit regardless of your language proficiency. Feedback from clients on our Polish tutors is consistently highly positive. Our students are sent a profile containing information on their specific teacher’s experience and background before the start of their Polish Lessons.

New teaching approaches have revolutionised how modern language training is now approached. This training, with more fun and a more worthwhile experience means that it’s a far cry from what you may remember of studying languages in school. When you start a Polish course in Shropshire, you will make progress from the very first lesson, as almost everything will be done in Polish. This is known as the Communicative Approach, and means that your confidence and ability will soon grow so that you can use Polish to communicate in social and business settings.

The Polish courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Polish training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week. If you require faster progress, 1:1 Polish courses at Shropshire are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths.

Polish Course Management

Every SIMON & SIMON Polish language course is overseen by one of our highly experienced Account Managers, all of whom are multi-lingual. At the start of your Polish language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. You will also receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, featuring a superb prize draw and invaluable weblinks to language learning sources.

The Polish language courses of SIMON & SIMON have been run in numerous locations. As we have a global network of language trainers your Polish language course can be arranged in major cities across Europe and further afield. Most of our clients arrange for their Polish lessons to be run in their offices so that there is less need for travel, but we can also run Polish lessons in your home. We also run residential full-time Polish language courses in a variety of locations which our office will be happy to inform you of.

Shropshire Polish Course Schedules

Our Polish language courses in Shropshire go on all year. Some of our students attend more than one 90-minute weekly session if work circumstances allow, and most will attend at least one per week. Weekend Courses in Polish can be arranged on request. Our Polish courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday. 30 hour per week intensive Polish courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

We will tailor your Polish language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Polish language course we will assess your goals and level of Polish experience. Your desire to learn Polish may be simply to develop basic skills, or you may have some level of proficiency and wish to increase your ability to use Polish to discuss business. You may want to develop your language skills so that you can use Polish in negotiations and meetings or improve your pronunciation and telephone skills. No matter what goals you have, you can be confident of our Polish trainers experience and that your Polish language course is tailored to your needs and your goals will be quickly met.

Polish Language Examination Courses

Our students’ pass rate for Polish examinations is at 95%, and we are happy to help with the preparations for any such examination. Our high pass rate shows the value of working with Polish teachers in Shropshire who have a higher level of experience than average. SIMON & SIMON also arrange registration for Polish examinations as well as administering the examination and issuing the results.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Back to top of Polish Courses Shropshire

Polish describes a Lechitic subgroup of West Slavic languages in Central Europe and the official language of Poland. Its written standard is the Polish alphabet which corresponds to the Latin alphabet with several additions. Polish-speakers use the language in a uniform manner throughout most of Poland. Despite the pressure of non-Polish administrations in Poland, who have often attempted to suppress the Polish language, a rich literature has developed over the centuries and the language is currently the largest in terms of speakers of the West Slavic group. It is also the third most widely spoken Slavic language, after Russian and Ukrainian.

Shropshire is a county in the West Midlands region of England. It borders Wales to the west. Shropshire is one of England's most rural and sparsely populated counties with a population density of 91/km2 (337/sq mi). The shire county and its districts were replaced by a unitary authority on 1 April 2009. The borough of Telford and Wrekin, included in Shropshire for ceremonial purposes, has been a unitary authority since 1998. The county is centred around six main towns starting with the county town of Shrewsbury, which is culturally and historically important, although Telford, which was constructed around a number of older towns, most notably Wellington, Dawley and Madeley, is today the most populous. The other main towns are Oswestry in the north-west, Newport to the east, Bridgnorth in the south-east, and Ludlow to the south. Whitchurch and Market Drayton in the north of the county are also of notable size. The Ironbridge Gorge area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covering Ironbridge, Coalbrookdale and a part of Madeley. There are, additionally, other notable historic industrial sites located around the county, such as Broseley, Snailbeach and Highley as well as the Shropshire Union Canal.
