Nottinghamshire Polish Course Schedules

Our Polish language courses in Nottinghamshire take place throughout the year. Many of our students try to attend more than one weekly lesson if work commitments allow, and most will attend at least one session of 90-minutes duration per week. If you would like a Weekend Course, one can be arranged. Our Polish daytime courses run from 8am through to 8pm, Monday - Friday. We also provide Intensive Polish language courses on clients’ premises or in residential centres both in the UK and abroad. These courses run for 30 hours of the week, 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday.

The Polish language course that you undertake will be customised for your Polish level and personal goals. Before you start the course, we will speak to you about your desired focus and assess you Polish level. You may have little or no experience of Polish and only want basic conversational skills or you may be more proficient and desire more fluency with which to discuss business. You may want to raise your Polish skills for use in meetings and negotiations or rather develop increased comprehension and pronunciation skills. Polish Language Examination Courses

Polish describes a Lechitic subgroup of West Slavic languages in Central Europe and the official language of Poland. Its written standard is the Polish alphabet which corresponds to the Latin alphabet with several additions. Polish-speakers use the language in a uniform manner throughout most of Poland. Despite the pressure of non-Polish administrations in Poland, who have often attempted to suppress the Polish language, a rich literature has developed over the centuries and the language is currently the largest in terms of speakers of the West Slavic group. It is also the third most widely spoken Slavic language, after Russian and Ukrainian.

Nottinghamshire is an English county in the East Midlands, which borders South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. The county town is traditionally Nottingham, though the council is now based in West Bridgford, a suburb of Greater Nottingham (at a site facing Nottingham City over the River Trent).
