If the only experience you have of studying a language is from your time in school, you may not know that there has been a revolution in the teaching of modern languages so that it is both more fun and more worthwhile.
Your Polish teacher in Bournemouth will be using the Communicative Approach, where your lessons will, with few exceptions, be conducted in Polish. You will see your progress from that very first lesson and will soon be confident enough to conduct business or talk socially in Polish. We offer Polish courses as group sessions or on a 1:1 basis/ Most of our clients offer their employees 1:1 Polish training, however, if planned carefully, with participants numbering 6 or less who commit to meeting every week, group sessions can be good value for money.
Those who learn Polish at Bournemouth on a 1:1 basis will find that they progress more quickly, as the lessons can be specifically tailored for their individual needs, strengths and weaknesses. Polish Course ManagementA multi-lingual Account Manager with extensive experience is responsible for each SIMON & SIMON Polish language course.
A profile on your trainer, Course Plan and course materials will be sent to you when you start your Polish course. After every 40 hours of training you will receive a Progress Report. We will also send you Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter, which contains a wonderful prize draw and valuable language learning resource weblinks. We also provide Intensive Polish language courses on clients’ premises or in residential centres both in the UK and abroad. Before you start the course, we will speak to you about your desired focus and assess you Polish level.
You may have little or no experience of Polish and only want basic conversational skills or you may be more proficient and desire more fluency with which to discuss business.
You may want to raise your Polish skills for use in meetings and negotiations or rather develop increased comprehension and pronunciation skills.
Whatever your objectives, our Polish language trainers are highly experienced, and you can be confident that your personalised Polish course will help you to meet your goals quickly. Polish Language Examination CoursesSIMON & SIMON also assists in preparation for Polish examinations, whether for business or personal qualification. We believe that our 95% pass rate for language examinations is a reflection of our policy of working with Polish teachers in Bournemouth who possess above average experience.
Registration for and administration of Polish examinations, along with the issuing of results certificates are all provided by SIMON & SIMON. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Polish Courses Bournemouth Polish describes a Lechitic subgroup of West Slavic languages in Central Europe and the official language of Poland. Its written standard is the Polish alphabet which corresponds to the Latin alphabet with several additions. Polish-speakers use the language in a uniform manner throughout most of Poland. Despite the pressure of non-Polish administrations in Poland, who have often attempted to suppress the Polish language, a rich literature has developed over the centuries and the language is currently the largest in terms of speakers of the West Slavic group. It is also the third most widely spoken Slavic language, after Russian and Ukrainian. Bournemouth is a large coastal resort town in the county of Dorset, England. According to the 2001 Census the town has a population of 164,900, making it the largest settlement in Dorset. It is also the largest settlement between Southampton and Plymouth. With Poole and Christchurch Bournemouth forms the South East Dorset conurbation, which has a total population of approximately 400,000.
Founded in 1810 by Lewis Tregonwell, Bournemouth's growth accelerated with the arrival of the railway, becoming a recognised town in 1870. Originally part of Hampshire, it joined Dorset with the reorganisation of local government in 1974. Since 1997 the town has been administered by a unitary authority, meaning that it has autonomy from Dorset County Council. The local authority is Bournemouth Borough Council.
Bournemouth's location on the south coast of England has made it a popular destination for tourists. The town is a regional centre of business, home of the Bournemouth International Centre and financial companies that include Liverpool Victoria and PruHealth.
In a 2007 survey by First Direct Bank, Bournemouth was found to be the happiest place in Britain with 82% of people questioned saying they were happy with their life.
