The vast majority of our Italian lessons take place at our clients' offices, removing the need for you to travel, but Italian lessons can take place in your home if that is more convenient. Cheshire Italian Course Schedules

We run our Italian language courses in Cheshire all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly. We also arrange weekend Italian courses on request. Our Italian programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Intensive 30 hour per week Italian language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday.

Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your Italian course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of Italian and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on. You may desire simply to gain everyday Italian skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in Italian and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing. You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your Italian for use in negotiations and meetings. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Italian is a Romance language spoken as a native language by about 70 million people in Italy, Malta, San Marino and parts of Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia and France. Many native speakers are native bilinguals of both standardised Italian and regional varieties. Italian derives diachronically from Latin and is the closest national language to Latin. Unlike most other Romance languages, Italian retains Latin's contrast between short and long consonants. As in most Romance languages, stress is distinctive.
