Northampton Hungarian Course Schedules

Our Hungarian language courses in Northampton go on all year. Some of our students attend more than one 90-minute weekly session if work circumstances allow, and most will attend at least one per week. Weekend Courses in Hungarian can be arranged on request. Our Hungarian courses are available 12 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday. 30 hour per week intensive Hungarian courses can be held on clients’ premises or in residential centres in the UK or abroad. These courses take 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

We will tailor your Hungarian language course for your specific aims and level of knowledge. Before you start your Hungarian language course we will assess your goals and level of Hungarian experience. Hungarian is a Uralic language, part of the Ugric group, related to Finnish, Estonian and a number of minority languages spoken in the Baltic states and northern European Russia eastward into central Siberia. The Uralic languages are not related to the Indo-European languages that dominate Europe but have acquired loan words from them. It is the official language in the Central European country of Hungary and is also spoken by Hungarian communities in the seven neighbouring countries and by diaspora communities worldwide. There are about 16 million native speakers, of whom 9.5–10 million live in present-day Hungary.

Northampton is a large market town and local government district in the East Midlands region of England. It is about 67 miles (108 km) north-west of London and around 50 miles (80 km) south-east of Birmingham, and lies on the River Nene. It is the county town of Northamptonshire. The district's population is 200,100 and the town population is 189,474, making Northampton the 22nd-largest settlement in England, and the UK's 4th-largest town without official city status, after Reading, Dudley and Milton Keynes.
