Averaging 15 years of experience, our native Hungarian speaking qualified teachers construct your course so that your individual requirements are met, no matter what your level of experience.
Our Hungarian teachers receive excellent feedback from our clients. A profile, containing information about the Hungarian teacher’s background and experience, is sent to each student before the Hungarian lessons start.
If you have only studied languages before at school you will find that teaching approaches to modern language training have changed enormously in recent years - it's now a lot more fun and a far more rewarding experience!
Your teacher will conduct your Hungarian lesson in Norfolk almost entirely in Hungarian - a method known as the Communicative Approach - and you will find yourself making progress from the very first lesson and soon growing in the confidence to communicate in Hungarian in a variety of social and business situations. Hungarian courses from us can be run for groups or individuals. While many of our clients offer their employees Hungarian courses on a 1:1 basis, group sessions can be excellent value. Group sessions do require planning and commitment from the participants and we recommend that no more than 6 people participate in a group.
As 1:1 lessons can be tailored to an individual’s needs, strengths and weaknesses, learning Hungarian in Norfolk on a 1:1 basis will give quicker progress. Hungarian Course ManagementOne of our highly experienced, multilingual Account managers oversees each SIMON & SIMON Hungarian language course.
On starting your Hungarian course you will receive various materials including a profile on your trainer, a Course Plan and course materials and a Progress Report on every 40 hours of your training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter, which contains weblinks to various language learning sources and a prize draw, will also be sent to you. Hungarian language courses have been run by SIMON & SIMON in many locations. Our global network of language trainers means that any major city in the UK Europe, and beyond can hold your Hungarian language course.
We can arrange your Hungarian language lessons for your own home, but many of our clients like to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel.
Residential full-time Hungarian language courses are also available. Our office can discuss available locations with you. Norfolk Hungarian Course SchedulesThe Hungarian language courses in Norfolk that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more.
We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Hungarian courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm.
Intensive Hungarian language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday. Before you start your Hungarian language course we will assess your level of Hungarian and speak to you about your aims so that your Hungarian language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Hungarian before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Hungarian when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Hungarian in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Whatever goals you may have, our experienced Hungarian language trainers will tailor your Hungarian course so that your goals can be quickly met. Hungarian Language Examination CoursesWe are happy to help in your preparation for any Hungarian examinations. Our students have a 95% pass rate and we think that their success shows the value of our policy of working with above-average experienced Hungarian teachers in Norfolk.
Issuing of results certificates, registration for Hungarian examinations and administration of such exams is also provided by SIMON & SIMON. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Hungarian Courses Norfolk Hungarian is a Uralic language, part of the Ugric group, related to Finnish, Estonian and a number of minority languages spoken in the Baltic states and northern European Russia eastward into central Siberia. The Uralic languages are not related to the Indo-European languages that dominate Europe but have acquired loan words from them. It is the official language in the Central European country of Hungary and is also spoken by Hungarian communities in the seven neighbouring countries and by diaspora communities worldwide. There are about 16 million native speakers, of whom 9.5–10 million live in present-day Hungary. Norfolk is a low-lying county in the East of England. It has borders with Lincolnshire to the west, Cambridgeshire to the west and southwest and Suffolk to the south. Its northern and eastern boundaries are the North Sea coast, including The Wash. The county town is Norwich. Norfolk is the fifth largest ceremonial county in England, with an area of 5,371 km² (2,074 sq mi).
Of the 34 non-metropolitan English counties, Norfolk is the seventh most populous, with a population of 850,800 (mid 2008). However, as a largely rural county it has a low population density, 155 people per square kilometre (or 401 per square mile.) Norfolk has about one-thirtieth the population density of Central London, the tenth lowest density county in the country, with 38% of the county’s population living in the three major built up areas of Norwich (259,100), Great Yarmouth (71,700) and King's Lynn (43,100). The Broads, a well known network of rivers and lakes, is located on the county's east coast, bordering Suffolk. The area has the status of a National Park and is protected by the Broads Authority. Historical sites, such as those in the centre of Norwich, also contribute to tourism.
