At the start of your Hungarian language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. We have a global network of language trainers so our Hungarian language courses can be arranged for almost any major European city, or even further abroad. SIMON & SIMON have run Hungarian language courses for clients in many diverse locations. Hungarian language courses can be run in your home for your convenience, but many of our clients prefer to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel. Merseyside Hungarian Course Schedules

We run our Hungarian language courses in Merseyside all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly. We also arrange weekend Hungarian courses on request. Our Hungarian programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Intensive 30 hour per week Hungarian language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday.

Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your Hungarian course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of Hungarian and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on. You may desire simply to gain everyday Hungarian skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in Hungarian and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing. You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your Hungarian for use in negotiations and meetings. Whatever your goals and needs, our highly experienced Hungarian language trainers will tailor your Hungarian course so that your goals will be met quickly.

Hungarian Language Examination Courses

If you are taking a Hungarian examination, for business or other reasons, we are happy to help you with your preparations. We are very proud of the 95% pass rate of our students in language examinations. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Hungarian is a Uralic language, part of the Ugric group, related to Finnish, Estonian and a number of minority languages spoken in the Baltic states and northern European Russia eastward into central Siberia. The Uralic languages are not related to the Indo-European languages that dominate Europe but have acquired loan words from them. It is the official language in the Central European country of Hungary and is also spoken by Hungarian communities in the seven neighbouring countries and by diaspora communities worldwide. There are about 16 million native speakers, of whom 9.5–10 million live in present-day Hungary.

Merseyside is a metropolitan county in North West England, with a population of 1,365,900. Taking its name from the River Mersey, Merseyside came into existence as a metropolitan county in 1974, after the passage of the Local Government Act 1972, and the county consists of five metropolitan boroughs adjoining the Mersey Estuary, including the City of Liverpool. Merseyside County Council was abolished in 1986, and so its districts (the metropolitan boroughs) are now effectively unitary authorities. However, the metropolitan county is still recognised for ceremonial and administrative purposes. Merseyside is divided into two parts by the Mersey Estuary: the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral is located to the west of the estuary on the Wirral Peninsula; the rest of the county is located on the eastern side of the estuary. The eastern boroughs of Merseyside border Lancashire to the north and Greater Manchester to the east, and both parts of Merseyside, west and east of the estuary, border Cheshire to the south. The territory comprising the county of Merseyside previously consisted of the county boroughs of Birkenhead, Wallasey, Liverpool, Bootle, Southport and St Helens. Birkenhead and Wallasey were part of the county of Cheshire, whilst Liverpool, Bootle, Crosby, Formby, Southport and St Helens were part of the county of Lancashire.
