Hungarian Courses for Business in GlasgowPlease click a title below for further information: SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified native Hungarian speaking teachers average 15 years of experience. Professionals and private individuals from all over the UK have benefited from SIMON & SIMON’s Hungarian language courses, all of which are tailor-made to reflect each student's level of experience.
We consistently receive outstanding feedback from our clients about our Hungarian tutors. Each student is sent a specific profile on the experience and background of their Hungarian tutor before they start their course of lessons. Modern language teaching is now approached much differently to how you might remember learning languages in school. The experience is now much more fun and rewarding.
The Communicative Approach, where your Hungarian teacher will conduct your lessons almost entirely in Hungarian means that progress is made from your very first lesson. Soon, you will have such confidence that using Hungarian in a social or business setting will be no problem. The Hungarian courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Hungarian training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week.
If you require faster progress, 1:1 Hungarian courses at Glasgow are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths. Hungarian Course ManagementEvery SIMON & SIMON Hungarian language course has a highly experienced, multi-lingual Account Manager who oversees it.
When your Hungarian course starts you will be sent a profile on your trainer, materials for your course and a Course Plan as well as a Progress Report for every 40 hours of training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter that you will also receive, contains a prize draw as well as weblinks to a number of learning resources. We have a global network of language trainers so our Hungarian language courses can be arranged for almost any major European city, or even further abroad. SIMON & SIMON have run Hungarian language courses for clients in many diverse locations.
Hungarian language courses can be run in your home for your convenience, but many of our clients prefer to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel.

Intensive Hungarian language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday. Before you start your Hungarian language course we will assess your level of Hungarian and speak to you about your aims so that your Hungarian language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Hungarian before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Hungarian when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Hungarian in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Whatever goals you may have, our experienced Hungarian language trainers will tailor your Hungarian course so that your goals can be quickly met. Hungarian Language Examination CoursesWe are happy to help in your preparation for any Hungarian examinations. Our students have a 95% pass rate and we think that their success shows the value of our policy of working with above-average experienced Hungarian teachers in Glasgow.
Issuing of results certificates, registration for Hungarian examinations and administration of such exams is also provided by SIMON & SIMON. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Hungarian Courses Glasgow Hungarian is a Uralic language, part of the Ugric group, related to Finnish, Estonian and a number of minority languages spoken in the Baltic states and northern European Russia eastward into central Siberia. The Uralic languages are not related to the Indo-European languages that dominate Europe but have acquired loan words from them. It is the official language in the Central European country of Hungary and is also spoken by Hungarian communities in the seven neighbouring countries and by diaspora communities worldwide. There are about 16 million native speakers, of whom 9.5–10 million live in present-day Hungary. Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland and third most populous in the United Kingdom. The city is situated on the River Clyde in the country's west central lowlands. A person from Glasgow is known as a Glaswegian or as locals say "weegie".
Glasgow grew from the medieval Bishopric of Glasgow and the later establishment of the University of Glasgow in the 15th century, which subsequently became a major centre of the Scottish Enlightenment in the 18th century. From the 18th century the city also grew as one of Britain's main hubs of transatlantic trade with British North America and the British West Indies. With the Industrial Revolution, the city and surrounding region shifted to become one of the world's pre-eminent centres of Heavy Engineering, most notably in the Shipbuilding and Marine engineering industry, which produced many innovative and famous vessels. Glasgow was known as the "Second City of the British Empire" for much of the Victorian era and Edwardian period. Today it is one of Europe's top twenty financial centres and is home to many of Scotland's leading businesses. Glasgow is also ranked as the 57th most liveable city in the world.
