Buckinghamshire Hungarian Course Schedules

The Hungarian language courses in Buckinghamshire that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Hungarian courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Hungarian language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Hungarian language course we will assess your level of Hungarian and speak to you about your aims so that your Hungarian language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Hungarian before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Hungarian when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Hungarian in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Whatever goals you may have, our experienced Hungarian language trainers will tailor your Hungarian course so that your goals can be quickly met.

Hungarian Language Examination Courses

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Hungarian is a Uralic language, part of the Ugric group, related to Finnish, Estonian and a number of minority languages spoken in the Baltic states and northern European Russia eastward into central Siberia. The Uralic languages are not related to the Indo-European languages that dominate Europe but have acquired loan words from them. It is the official language in the Central European country of Hungary and is also spoken by Hungarian communities in the seven neighbouring countries and by diaspora communities worldwide. There are about 16 million native speakers, of whom 9.5–10 million live in present-day Hungary.

Buckinghamshire archaically the County of Buckingham; abbreviated Bucks) is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan home county in South East England. The county town is Aylesbury, the largest town in the ceremonial county is Milton Keynes and largest town in the non-metropolitan county is High Wycombe. The area under the control of Buckinghamshire County Council, or shire county, is divided into four districts―Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe. The Borough of Milton Keynes is a unitary authority and forms part of the county for various functions such as Lord Lieutenant but does not come under county council control. The ceremonial county, the area including Milton Keynes borough, borders Greater London (to the south east), Berkshire (to the south), Oxfordshire (to the west), Northamptonshire (to the north), Bedfordshire (to the north east) and Hertfordshire (to the east).
