German Courses for Business in ShropshirePlease click a title below for further information: SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified native German speaking teachers average 15 years of experience. Professionals and private individuals from all over the UK have benefited from SIMON & SIMON’s German language courses, all of which are tailor-made to reflect each student's level of experience.
We consistently receive outstanding feedback from our clients about our German tutors. Each student is sent a specific profile on the experience and background of their German tutor before they start their course of lessons. Modern language teaching is now approached much differently to how you might remember learning languages in school. The experience is now much more fun and rewarding.
The Communicative Approach, where your German teacher will conduct your lessons almost entirely in German means that progress is made from your very first lesson. Soon, you will have such confidence that using German in a social or business setting will be no problem. The German courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 German training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week.
If you require faster progress, 1:1 German courses at Shropshire are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths. German Course ManagementSIMON & SIMON’s German language courses all have a specific Account Manager who oversee the course. Each of these managers is highly experienced and multi-lingual.
At the start of your German course, you will receive a profile on your trainer, course materials and a Course Plan. After every 40 hours of training you will receive a Progress Report. We will send you our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, which contains a wonderful prize draw as well as weblinks to valuable language learning resources. SIMON & SIMON has arranged German language courses for clients in numerous locations, and with our global network of language trainers we can organise a German language course for you wherever you are - in almost any major city in the UK, Europe and beyond.
The vast majority of our German lessons take place at our clients' offices, removing the need for you to travel, but German lessons can take place in your home if that is more convenient.
We can also arrange full-time residential German language courses for you - just contact our office for information on available destinations. Shropshire German Course SchedulesOur German language courses in Shropshire take place throughout the year. Many of our students try to attend more than one weekly lesson if work commitments allow, and most will attend at least one session of 90-minutes duration per week.
If you would like a Weekend Course, one can be arranged. Our German daytime courses run from 8am through to 8pm, Monday - Friday.
We also provide Intensive German language courses on clients’ premises or in residential centres both in the UK and abroad. These courses run for 30 hours of the week, 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday. The German language course that you undertake will be customised for your German level and personal goals. Before you start the course, we will speak to you about your desired focus and assess you German level.
You may have little or no experience of German and only want basic conversational skills or you may be more proficient and desire more fluency with which to discuss business.
You may want to raise your German skills for use in meetings and negotiations or rather develop increased comprehension and pronunciation skills.
Whatever your objectives, our German language trainers are highly experienced, and you can be confident that your personalised German course will help you to meet your goals quickly. German Language Examination CoursesSIMON & SIMON also assists in preparation for German examinations, whether for business or personal qualification. We believe that our 95% pass rate for language examinations is a reflection of our policy of working with German teachers in Shropshire who possess above average experience.
Registration for and administration of German examinations, along with the issuing of results certificates are all provided by SIMON & SIMON. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of German Courses Shropshire German is a West Germanic language, thus related to and classified alongside English and Dutch. It is one of the world's major languages and the most widely spoken first language in the European Union. Globally, German is spoken by approximately 120 million native speakers and also by about 80 million non-native speakers. Standard German is widely taught in schools, universities and Goethe Institutes worldwide.
German is primarily spoken in Germany (where it is the first language for more than 95% of the population), Austria (89%) and Switzerland (65%). German is also spoken by the majority of the populations of Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
Other European German-speaking communities are found in Northern Italy (in the Province of Bolzano-Bozen and in some municipalities in other provinces), in the East Cantons of Belgium, in the French regions of Alsace and Lorraine, and in some border villages of the former South Jutland County (in German, Nordschleswig, in Danish, Sønderjylland) of Denmark. Shropshire is a county in the West Midlands region of England. It borders Wales to the west. Shropshire is one of England's most rural and sparsely populated counties with a population density of 91/km2 (337/sq mi). The shire county and its districts were replaced by a unitary authority on 1 April 2009. The borough of Telford and Wrekin, included in Shropshire for ceremonial purposes, has been a unitary authority since 1998.
The county is centred around six main towns starting with the county town of Shrewsbury, which is culturally and historically important, although Telford, which was constructed around a number of older towns, most notably Wellington, Dawley and Madeley, is today the most populous. The other main towns are Oswestry in the north-west, Newport to the east, Bridgnorth in the south-east, and Ludlow to the south. Whitchurch and Market Drayton in the north of the county are also of notable size.
The Ironbridge Gorge area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covering Ironbridge, Coalbrookdale and a part of Madeley. There are, additionally, other notable historic industrial sites located around the county, such as Broseley, Snailbeach and Highley as well as the Shropshire Union Canal.
