SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified French teachers is made up of native speakers who average 15 years of experience. These teachers will make sure that a course is tailored for your specific needs so that you will benefit regardless of your language proficiency.
Feedback from clients on our French tutors is consistently highly positive. Our students are sent a profile containing information on their specific teacher’s experience and background before the start of their French Lessons. The way that modern languages are taught has gone through a revolution in the past few years. If you have only learned languages at school you will find that the experience now is vastly more fun and worthwhile.
The Communicative Approach means that your French lessons in Lincolnshire will be almost entirely through the medium of French. You will feel that you are making real progress, even in the first lesson, and will soon communicate in French with confidence, in a range of social and business environments. French courses from us can be run for groups or individuals. While many of our clients offer their employees French courses on a 1:1 basis, group sessions can be excellent value. Group sessions do require planning and commitment from the participants and we recommend that no more than 6 people participate in a group.
As 1:1 lessons can be tailored to an individual’s needs, strengths and weaknesses, learning French in Lincolnshire on a 1:1 basis will give quicker progress. French Course ManagementOne of our highly experienced, multilingual Account managers oversees each SIMON & SIMON French language course.
On starting your French course you will receive various materials including a profile on your trainer, a Course Plan and course materials and a Progress Report on every 40 hours of your training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter, which contains weblinks to various language learning sources and a prize draw, will also be sent to you. The French language courses of SIMON & SIMON have been run in numerous locations. As we have a global network of language trainers your French language course can be arranged in major cities across Europe and further afield.
Most of our clients arrange for their French lessons to be run in their offices so that there is less need for travel, but we can also run French lessons in your home.
We also run residential full-time French language courses in a variety of locations which our office will be happy to inform you of. Lincolnshire French Course SchedulesOur French language courses in Lincolnshire run throughout the year. The majority of our students attend at least one 90-minute session per week and many students will try to do more than one session depending on work commitments.
Our French teachers are available Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm, and Weekend Courses can also be arranged on request.
Our intensive French language courses run for 30 hours per week, (6 hours per day Monday - Friday), and take place on our clients' premises or at a residential centre here in the UK or abroad. The content of your French language course will reflect your level and your particular objectives. We will assess your French language level before your course, and discuss with you in detail the subject areas you wish to focus on.
You may be a complete beginner looking for day-to-day French survival language skills, or a more proficient French speaker needing to improve your fluency when discussing areas such as law, banking, finance, insurance, sales, travel, marketing, and administration.
You may want to focus on improving your French for meetings, discussions and negotiations, or to concentrate on improving your listening comprehension, pronunciation and telephone skills.
Whatever your needs, working with one of our highly experienced French language trainers you can be confident that the content of your French language course will be tailored just for you and that you will soon be meeting your objectives. French Language Examination CoursesWe can also help prepare you for French examinations of a business or general nature. We are proud to say our students have a 95% pass rate in language examinations, and their success further underlines the value we place on working with French teachers in Lincolnshire with above average experience.
As part of our service, SIMON & SIMON will also organise the registration and administration of French examinations and the issuing of result certificates. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

A total of 500 million speak it as either a first, second, and foreign language. Moreover, some 200 million people learn French as a foreign language. French speaking communities are present in 56 countries and territories. Most second-language speakers of French live in Francophone Africa, arguably exceeding the number of native speakers. Lincolnshire is a county in the east of England. It borders Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, and the East Riding of Yorkshire. It also borders Northamptonshire for just 19 metres (20 yards), England's shortest county boundary. The county town is the city of Lincoln, where the county council has its headquarters.
The ceremonial county of Lincolnshire is composed of the non-metropolitan county of Lincolnshire and the area covered by the unitary authorities of North Lincolnshire and North-East Lincolnshire. The county is the second largest of the English counties and one that is predominantly agricultural in land use.
