Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter, which contains weblinks to various language learning sources and a prize draw, will also be sent to you.

English language courses have been run by SIMON & SIMON in many locations. Our global network of language trainers means that any major city in the UK Europe, and beyond can hold your English language course. We can arrange your English language lessons for your own home, but many of our clients like to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel. Cardiff English Course Schedules

We run our English language courses in Cardiff all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly. We also arrange weekend English courses on request. Our English programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Intensive 30 hour per week English language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday.

Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your English course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of English and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on. You may desire simply to gain everyday English skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in English and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing. You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your English for use in negotiations and meetings. Whatever your goals and needs, our highly experienced English language trainers will tailor your English course so that your goals will be met quickly.

English Language Examination Courses

If you are taking a English examination, for business or other reasons, we are happy to help you with your preparations. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

English is a West Germanic language that arose in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of England and spread into what was to become south-east Scotland under the influence of the Anglian medieval kingdom of Northumbria. Cardiff is the capital, largest city and most populous county of Wales.
