Croatian Courses for Business in Yorkshire

Please click a title below for further information:

Private individuals and professionals in companies all over the UK have profited from undertaking a Croatian Language Course with SIMON & SIMON. Averaging 15 years of experience, our native Croatian speaking qualified teachers construct your course so that your individual requirements are met, no matter what your level of experience. Our Croatian teachers receive excellent feedback from our clients. A profile, containing information about the Croatian teacher’s background and experience, is sent to each student before the Croatian lessons start.

If the only experience you have of studying a language is from your time in school, you may not know that there has been a revolution in the teaching of modern languages so that it is both more fun and more worthwhile. Your Croatian teacher in Yorkshire will be using the Communicative Approach, where your lessons will, with few exceptions, be conducted in Croatian. You will see your progress from that very first lesson and will soon be confident enough to conduct business or talk socially in Croatian.

We offer Croatian courses as group sessions or on a 1:1 basis/ Most of our clients offer their employees 1:1 Croatian training, however, if planned carefully, with participants numbering 6 or less who commit to meeting every week, group sessions can be good value for money. Those who learn Croatian at Yorkshire on a 1:1 basis will find that they progress more quickly, as the lessons can be specifically tailored for their individual needs, strengths and weaknesses.

Croatian Course Management

Every SIMON & SIMON Croatian language course has a highly experienced, multi-lingual Account Manager who oversees it. When your Croatian course starts you will be sent a profile on your trainer, materials for your course and a Course Plan as well as a Progress Report for every 40 hours of training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter that you will also receive, contains a prize draw as well as weblinks to a number of learning resources.

SIMON & SIMON has arranged Croatian language courses for clients in numerous locations, and with our global network of language trainers we can organise a Croatian language course for you wherever you are - in almost any major city in the UK, Europe and beyond. The vast majority of our Croatian lessons take place at our clients' offices, removing the need for you to travel, but Croatian lessons can take place in your home if that is more convenient. We can also arrange full-time residential Croatian language courses for you - just contact our office for information on available destinations.

Yorkshire Croatian Course Schedules

The Croatian language courses in Yorkshire that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Croatian courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Croatian language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Croatian language course we will assess your level of Croatian and speak to you about your aims so that your Croatian language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Croatian before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Croatian when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Croatian in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Whatever goals you may have, our experienced Croatian language trainers will tailor your Croatian course so that your goals can be quickly met.

Croatian Language Examination Courses

We are happy to help in your preparation for any Croatian examinations. Our students have a 95% pass rate and we think that their success shows the value of our policy of working with above-average experienced Croatian teachers in Yorkshire. Issuing of results certificates, registration for Croatian examinations and administration of such exams is also provided by SIMON & SIMON.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Back to top of Croatian Courses Yorkshire

Croatian is the collective name for the standard language and dialects spoken by Croats, principally in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Serbian province of Vojvodina and other neighbouring countries. They are varieties of the Serbo-Croatian language, along with Serbian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin. Standard and literary Croatian is based on the central dialect, Shtokavian, more specifically on Eastern Herzegovinian, which is also the basis of standard Serbian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin.

Yorkshire s a historic county of northern England and the largest in the United Kingdom. Because of its great size in comparison to other English counties, functions have been increasingly undertaken over time by its subdivisions, which have also been subject to periodic reform. Throughout these changes, Yorkshire has continued to be recognized as a geographical territory and cultural region. The name is familiar and well understood across the United Kingdom and is in common use in the media and the military, and also features in the titles of current areas of civil administration, such as Yorkshire and the Humber and West Yorkshire Within the borders of the historic county of Yorkshire are areas which are widely considered to be among the greenest in England, due to the vast stretches of unspoiled countryside in the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors and to the open aspect of some of the major cities
