The feedback on our Bosnian tutors that we receive from our clients is consistently excellent. Prior to the start of your Bosnian course, you will be sent a profile on your specific Bosnian teacher’s experience and background. Modern language teaching is now approached much differently to how you might remember learning languages in school. The experience is now much more fun and rewarding.
The Communicative Approach, where your Bosnian teacher will conduct your lessons almost entirely in Bosnian means that progress is made from your very first lesson. Soon, you will have such confidence that using Bosnian in a social or business setting will be no problem. Bosnian courses from us can be run for groups or individuals. While many of our clients offer their employees Bosnian courses on a 1:1 basis, group sessions can be excellent value. Group sessions do require planning and commitment from the participants and we recommend that no more than 6 people participate in a group.
As 1:1 lessons can be tailored to an individual’s needs, strengths and weaknesses, learning Bosnian in Chelmsford on a 1:1 basis will give quicker progress. Bosnian Course ManagementSIMON & SIMON’s Bosnian language courses all have a specific Account Manager who oversee the course. Each of these managers is highly experienced and multi-lingual.
At the start of your Bosnian course, you will receive a profile on your trainer, course materials and a Course Plan. After every 40 hours of training you will receive a Progress Report. We will send you our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, which contains a wonderful prize draw as well as weblinks to valuable language learning resources. SIMON & SIMON’s Bosnian language courses have been run for clients in many different locations. With a global network of language trainers a Bosnian language course can be held in almost any major city throughout Europe and elsewhere.
We can arrange Bosnian language courses in your home or, as many of our clients prefer, in your offices to remove the need for you to travel.
Full-time residential Bosnian language courses are also an option. For a list of locations, please contact our office.
Chelmsford Bosnian Course SchedulesWe run Bosnian language courses in Chelmsford all year. Most of our students participate in no less than one 90-minute lesson per week, but many students will participate in more if work commitments allow.
Weekend Courses can be facilitated, and our Bosnian weekday courses run from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm.
Intensive Bosnian language courses are also available and can be run at the client’s premises or a residential centre in the UK or overseas. These courses take place over 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, for 30 hours per week. Your Bosnian language course’s content will be tailored to your experience and goals. Prior to the course, we will assess your Bosnian language level and speak to you comprehensively about the areas and subjects you are interested in.
Students may be complete novices who need everyday Bosnian conversational skills or have more proficiency in Bosnian and wish to be able to discuss various business topics such as banking or finance more fluently.
Students may desire to bolster their Bosnian for negotiations and meetings or focus on gaining better listening, pronunciation and comprehension skills.
No matter what your needs, you can be confident that our very experienced Bosnian language trainers will work with you on a Bosnian language course that is tailored for you so that you quickly meet your goals. Bosnian Language Examination CoursesBosnian examination preparation for business or other examinations can also be assisted with. Our students boast a 95% rate of passing such examinations, proving the value of our policy of Bosnian teachers in Chelmsford with experience above the average.
SIMON & SIMON also organises registration and administration of Bosnian examinations as well as issuing results certificates as a part of our service. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Bosnian Courses Chelmsford Bosnian is a name commonly used for Serbo-Croatian as spoken by Bosniaks. As a standardized form of the Shtokavian dialect, it is one of three Serbo-Croatian standards used officially in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The same subdialect of Shtokavian is also the basis of standard Croatian, Serbian, and Montenegrin, so all are mutually intelligible. Up until the dissolution of former SFR Yugoslavia, they were treated as a unitary Serbo-Croatian language, and that term is still used to refer to the common base (vocabulary, grammar and syntax) of what are today officially four national standards. The Bosnian standard uses both Latin and Cyrillic alphabet. Chelmsford is the county town of Essex, England, and the principal settlement of the borough of Chelmsford. It is located in the London commuter belt, approximately 32 miles (51 km) north east of Charing Cross, London, and approximately the same distance from the once provincial Roman capital at Colchester. The town currently has a population of approximately 102,400.
The main conurbation incorporates all or part of the former parishes of: Broomfield, Great Baddow, Moulsham, Widford and Springfield, including Springfield Barnes, now more commonly know as Chelmer Village.
The town is surrounded by many small villages that retain their original charm (examples of these are Danbury, Writtle, Good and High Easter, Roxwell, Mashbury, Chignal Smealy, Little Baddow, Great and Little Waltham, Howe Street, Pleshey and Bicknacre).
Chelmsford is a modern, well placed town that has a large number of commuters who work in the City of London financial sector, and its residents are known as 'Chelmsfordians'.
