Both professionals and non-professionals alike have seen great benefits from a SIMON & SIMON Bosnian Language Course. SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified Bosnian teachers is made up of native speakers who average 15 years of experience. These teachers will make sure that a course is tailored for your specific needs so that you will benefit regardless of your language proficiency. Feedback from clients on our Bosnian tutors is consistently highly positive. Our students are sent a profile containing information on their specific teacher’s experience and background before the start of their Bosnian Lessons.

If the only experience you have of studying a language is from your time in school, you may not know that there has been a revolution in the teaching of modern languages so that it is both more fun and more worthwhile. Your Bosnian teacher in Cambridgeshire will be using the Communicative Approach, where your lessons will, with few exceptions, be conducted in Bosnian. You will see your progress from that very first lesson and will soon be confident enough to conduct business or talk socially in Bosnian.

The Bosnian courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Bosnian training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week. If you require faster progress, 1:1 Bosnian courses at Cambridgeshire are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths.

Bosnian Course Management

Every SIMON & SIMON Bosnian language course is overseen by one of our highly experienced Account Managers, all of whom are multi-lingual. At the start of your Bosnian language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. You will also receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, featuring a superb prize draw and invaluable weblinks to language learning sources.

We have a global network of language trainers so our Bosnian language courses can be arranged for almost any major European city, or even further abroad. SIMON & SIMON have run Bosnian language courses for clients in many diverse locations. Bosnian language courses can be run in your home for your convenience, but many of our clients prefer to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel. For a list of the locations of the full-time residential Bosnian language courses that we offer, contact our office.

Cambridgeshire Bosnian Course Schedules

We run our Bosnian language courses in Cambridgeshire all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly. We also arrange weekend Bosnian courses on request. Our Bosnian programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Intensive 30 hour per week Bosnian language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday.

Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your Bosnian course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of Bosnian and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on. You may desire simply to gain everyday Bosnian skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in Bosnian and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing. You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your Bosnian for use in negotiations and meetings. Whatever your goals and needs, our highly experienced Bosnian language trainers will tailor your Bosnian course so that your goals will be met quickly.

Bosnian Language Examination Courses

If you are taking a Bosnian examination, for business or other reasons, we are happy to help you with your preparations. We are very proud of the 95% pass rate of our students in language examinations. We believe this highlights the value of working with Bosnian teachers in Cambridgeshire whose experience is above average. SIMON & SIMON can also register you for your Bosnian examination, administer the examination and issue you your results.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Back to top of Bosnian Courses Cambridgeshire

Bosnian is a name commonly used for Serbo-Croatian as spoken by Bosniaks. As a standardized form of the Shtokavian dialect, it is one of three Serbo-Croatian standards used officially in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The same subdialect of Shtokavian is also the basis of standard Croatian, Serbian, and Montenegrin, so all are mutually intelligible. Up until the dissolution of former SFR Yugoslavia, they were treated as a unitary Serbo-Croatian language, and that term is still used to refer to the common base (vocabulary, grammar and syntax) of what are today officially four national standards. The Bosnian standard uses both Latin and Cyrillic alphabet.

Cambridgeshire is a former United Kingdom Parliamentary constituency. It was a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of England then of the Parliament of Great Britain from 1707 to 1800 and of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1801 to 1885. It was represented by two Knights of the Shire until 1832, when the number of members was increased to three. It was divided between the constituencies of Chesterton, Newmarket and Wisbech in 1885. The parliamentary county was again reconstituted in 1918. In 1983, when the redistribution of seats took place on the basis of the expanded post-1974 Cambridgeshire, the constituency was divided between the new constituencies of North East Cambridgeshire (including a small part of Peterborough), South East Cambridgeshire and South West Cambridgeshire (including a minority of territory from the former Huntingdonshire). The historic county of Cambridgeshire. (Although Cambridgeshire contained the borough of Cambridge, which elected two MPs in its own right, this was not excluded from the county constituency, and owning property within the borough could confer a vote at the county election.
