The Communicative Approach means that your Bosnian lessons in Buckingham will be almost entirely through the medium of Bosnian. You will feel that you are making real progress, even in the first lesson, and will soon communicate in Bosnian with confidence, in a range of social and business environments. The Bosnian courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Bosnian training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week.
If you require faster progress, 1:1 Bosnian courses at Buckingham are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths. Bosnian Course ManagementOne of our highly experienced, multilingual Account managers oversees each SIMON & SIMON Bosnian language course.
On starting your Bosnian course you will receive various materials including a profile on your trainer, a Course Plan and course materials and a Progress Report on every 40 hours of your training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter, which contains weblinks to various language learning sources and a prize draw, will also be sent to you. You may be a complete beginner looking for day-to-day Bosnian survival language skills, or a more proficient Bosnian speaker needing to improve your fluency when discussing areas such as law, banking, finance, insurance, sales, travel, marketing, and administration.
You may want to focus on improving your Bosnian for meetings, discussions and negotiations, or to concentrate on improving your listening comprehension, pronunciation and telephone skills.
Whatever your needs, working with one of our highly experienced Bosnian language trainers you can be confident that the content of your Bosnian language course will be tailored just for you and that you will soon be meeting your objectives. Bosnian Language Examination CoursesWe can also help prepare you for Bosnian examinations of a business or general nature. We are proud to say our students have a 95% pass rate in language examinations, and their success further underlines the value we place on working with Bosnian teachers in Buckingham with above average experience.
As part of our service, SIMON & SIMON will also organise the registration and administration of Bosnian examinations and the issuing of result certificates. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Bosnian Courses Buckingham Bosnian is a name commonly used for Serbo-Croatian as spoken by Bosniaks. As a standardized form of the Shtokavian dialect, it is one of three Serbo-Croatian standards used officially in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The same subdialect of Shtokavian is also the basis of standard Croatian, Serbian, and Montenegrin, so all are mutually intelligible. Up until the dissolution of former SFR Yugoslavia, they were treated as a unitary Serbo-Croatian language, and that term is still used to refer to the common base (vocabulary, grammar and syntax) of what are today officially four national standards. The Bosnian standard uses both Latin and Cyrillic alphabet. Buckingham is a town situated in north Buckinghamshire, England, approximately 10 miles (16.1 km) from the border with Northamptonshire. The town has a population of 11,572 (United Kingdom Census 2001), (2007 est. 13,200). Buckingham is also a civil parish designated as a town council.
Historically, Buckingham was the county town of Buckinghamshire having been declared so in the in the 10th century when it was made the capital of the newly-formed shire of Buckingham until Aylesbury took over this role early in the 18th century.
Buckingham has a variety of restaurants and pubs, typical of a small market town. It has a small number of local shops, both national and independent. Market days are Tuesday and Saturday, with a farmers' market held on the first Tuesday of each month. Buckingham is twinned with Mouvaux, France.
