Both professionals and non-professionals alike have seen great benefits from a SIMON & SIMON Bosnian Language Course. SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified Bosnian teachers is made up of native speakers who average 15 years of experience. These teachers will make sure that a course is tailored for your specific needs so that you will benefit regardless of your language proficiency. Feedback from clients on our Bosnian tutors is consistently highly positive. Our students are sent a profile containing information on their specific teacher’s experience and background before the start of their Bosnian Lessons.

New teaching approaches have revolutionised how modern language training is now approached. This training, with more fun and a more worthwhile experience means that it’s a far cry from what you may remember of studying languages in school. When you start a Bosnian course in Basildon, you will make progress from the very first lesson, as almost everything will be done in Bosnian. This is known as the Communicative Approach, and means that your confidence and ability will soon grow so that you can use Bosnian to communicate in social and business settings.

The Bosnian courses that we offer can be run as 1:1 or group sessions. While most of our clients use 1:1 Bosnian training for their employees, group sessions can be good value. Participants numbers should be kept to 6 or less, and they will need to commit to meeting every week. If you require faster progress, 1:1 Bosnian courses at Basildon are more suitable as the lessons and course can be tailored to the individual’s needs while focusing on their specific weaknesses and strengths.

Bosnian Course Management

One of our highly experienced, multilingual Account managers oversees each SIMON & SIMON Bosnian language course. On starting your Bosnian course you will receive various materials including a profile on your trainer, a Course Plan and course materials and a Progress Report on every 40 hours of your training. Breaking the Language Barrier, our quarterly newsletter, which contains weblinks to various language learning sources and a prize draw, will also be sent to you.

We have a global network of language trainers so our Bosnian language courses can be arranged for almost any major European city, or even further abroad. SIMON & SIMON have run Bosnian language courses for clients in many diverse locations. Bosnian language courses can be run in your home for your convenience, but many of our clients prefer to run them in their offices so as to minimise travel. For a list of the locations of the full-time residential Bosnian language courses that we offer, contact our office.

Basildon Bosnian Course Schedules

Our Bosnian language courses in Basildon take place throughout the year. Many of our students try to attend more than one weekly lesson if work commitments allow, and most will attend at least one session of 90-minutes duration per week. If you would like a Weekend Course, one can be arranged. Our Bosnian daytime courses run from 8am through to 8pm, Monday - Friday. We also provide Intensive Bosnian language courses on clients’ premises or in residential centres both in the UK and abroad. These courses run for 30 hours of the week, 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday.

The Bosnian language course that you undertake will be customised for your Bosnian level and personal goals. Before you start the course, we will speak to you about your desired focus and assess you Bosnian level. You may have little or no experience of Bosnian and only want basic conversational skills or you may be more proficient and desire more fluency with which to discuss business. You may want to raise your Bosnian skills for use in meetings and negotiations or rather develop increased comprehension and pronunciation skills. Whatever your objectives, our Bosnian language trainers are highly experienced, and you can be confident that your personalised Bosnian course will help you to meet your goals quickly.

Bosnian Language Examination Courses

SIMON & SIMON also assists in preparation for Bosnian examinations, whether for business or personal qualification. We believe that our 95% pass rate for language examinations is a reflection of our policy of working with Bosnian teachers in Basildon who possess above average experience. Registration for and administration of Bosnian examinations, along with the issuing of results certificates are all provided by SIMON & SIMON.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Back to top of Bosnian Courses Basildon

Bosnian is a name commonly used for Serbo-Croatian as spoken by Bosniaks. As a standardized form of the Shtokavian dialect, it is one of three Serbo-Croatian standards used officially in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The same subdialect of Shtokavian is also the basis of standard Croatian, Serbian, and Montenegrin, so all are mutually intelligible. Up until the dissolution of former SFR Yugoslavia, they were treated as a unitary Serbo-Croatian language, and that term is still used to refer to the common base (vocabulary, grammar and syntax) of what are today officially four national standards. The Bosnian standard uses both Latin and Cyrillic alphabet.

Basildon is a town located in the Basildon District of the county of Essex, England. It lies 25.6 miles (41 km) east of central London and 11 miles (18 km) south of the county town of Chelmsford. Nearby towns include Billericay to the north, Wickford northeast, and South Benfleet to the east. It was designated as a new town after World War II in 1948 to accommodate the London population overspill, created from the conglomeration of four small villages, namely Pitsea, Laindon, Basildon and Vange (the new town took the name Basildon as it was the most central of the four villages). The local government district of Basildon, formed in 1974, encapsulates a larger area than the town itself; the two neighbouring towns of Billericay and Wickford, as well as rural villages and smaller settlements set among the surrounding countryside, fall within its borders.
