Private individuals and professionals in companies all over the UK have profited from undertaking a Arabic Language Course with SIMON & SIMON. Averaging 15 years of experience, our native Arabic speaking qualified teachers construct your course so that your individual requirements are met, no matter what your level of experience. Our Arabic teachers receive excellent feedback from our clients. A profile, containing information about the Arabic teacher’s background and experience, is sent to each student before the Arabic lessons start.

The way that modern languages are taught has gone through a revolution in the past few years. If you have only learned languages at school you will find that the experience now is vastly more fun and worthwhile. The Communicative Approach means that your Arabic lessons in Warwickshire will be almost entirely through the medium of Arabic. You will feel that you are making real progress, even in the first lesson, and will soon communicate in Arabic with confidence, in a range of social and business environments.

Both 1:1 and group formats are available for our Arabic language courses. While most of our clients offer 1:1 Arabic training, the group format can offer great value for money. If you want groups to be successful, the members must commit to the weekly meetings and we recommend keeping the number of participants below 7. Progress is faster for those who learn Arabic in Warwickshire on a 1:1 basis as the lessons are individually tailored for their particular needs, strengths and weaknesses.

Arabic Course Management

SIMON & SIMON’s Arabic language courses all have a specific Account Manager who oversee the course. Each of these managers is highly experienced and multi-lingual. At the start of your Arabic course, you will receive a profile on your trainer, course materials and a Course Plan. After every 40 hours of training you will receive a Progress Report. We will send you our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, which contains a wonderful prize draw as well as weblinks to valuable language learning resources.

SIMON & SIMON’s Arabic language courses have been run for clients in many different locations. With a global network of language trainers a Arabic language course can be held in almost any major city throughout Europe and elsewhere. We can arrange Arabic language courses in your home or, as many of our clients prefer, in your offices to remove the need for you to travel. Full-time residential Arabic language courses are also an option. For a list of locations, please contact our office.

Warwickshire Arabic Course Schedules

The Arabic language courses in Warwickshire that we run go on through the year. Each week, most of our students will attend at least one of our 90-minute lessons, but many will do more. We can easily arrange Weekend Courses for you. Arabic courses run from Monday to Friday, any time from 8am to 8pm. Intensive Arabic language courses can be arranged in residential centres abroad or in the UK, or on clients’ premises for 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Before you start your Arabic language course we will assess your level of Arabic and speak to you about your aims so that your Arabic language course can be customised for you. You may have never been exposed to Arabic before and wish to develop basic survival skills, or you may have some experience and wish to be able to speak more fluently in Arabic when discussing business. You may want to further your ability to use Arabic in negotiations and meetings or better your comprehension and pronunciation abilities. Whatever goals you may have, our experienced Arabic language trainers will tailor your Arabic course so that your goals can be quickly met.

Arabic Language Examination Courses

We are happy to help in your preparation for any Arabic examinations. Our students have a 95% pass rate and we think that their success shows the value of our policy of working with above-average experienced Arabic teachers in Warwickshire. Issuing of results certificates, registration for Arabic examinations and administration of such exams is also provided by SIMON & SIMON.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Back to top of Arabic Courses Warwickshire

Arabic is a Central Semitic language, thus related to and classified alongside other Semitic languages such as Hebrew and the Neo-Aramaic languages. Arabic has more speakers than any other language in the Semitic language family. It is spoken by more than 280 million people as a first language, most of whom live in the Middle East and North Africa. It is the official language of 22 countries and it is the liturgical language of Islam since it is the language of the Quran, the Islamic Holy Book. Arabic has many different, geographically distributed spoken varieties, some of which are mutually unintelligible. Modern Standard Arabic (sometimes called Literary Arabic) is widely taught in schools, universities, and used in workplaces, government and the media.

Warwickshire is a landlocked non-metropolitan county in the West Midlands region of England. The county town is Warwick, although the largest town is Nuneaton in the far north of the county. The shape of the administrative area Warwickshire differs considerably from that of the historic county. Commonly used abbreviations for the county are Warks or Warwicks. Warwickshire is perhaps best known for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare from Stratford-upon-Avon. Even today, road signs at the county boundary describe Warwickshire as "Shakespeare's County". The county has also produced other literary figures such as George Eliot (from Nuneaton), Rupert Brooke (from Rugby), and Michael Drayton from Hartshill. The poet Philip Larkin lived in Warwick (born in nearby Coventry), and Elizabeth Gaskell went to school in Barford and Stratford. Warwickshire is bounded to the north-west by the West Midlands metropolitan county and Staffordshire, by Leicestershire to the north-east, Northamptonshire to the east, Worcestershire to the west, Oxfordshire to the south and Gloucestershire to the south-west. The northern tip of the county is only 5 km (3 miles) from the Derbyshire border. An average-sized English county covering an area of almost 2,000 km2, it runs some 96 km (60 mi) north to south.
