Both professionals and non-professionals alike have seen great benefits from a SIMON & SIMON Arabic Language Course. SIMON & SIMON’s team of qualified Arabic teachers is made up of native speakers who average 15 years of experience. These teachers will make sure that a course is tailored for your specific needs so that you will benefit regardless of your language proficiency. Feedback from clients on our Arabic tutors is consistently highly positive. Our students are sent a profile containing information on their specific teacher’s experience and background before the start of their Arabic Lessons.

If you have only studied languages before at school you will find that teaching approaches to modern language training have changed enormously in recent years - it's now a lot more fun and a far more rewarding experience! Your teacher will conduct your Arabic lesson in Stafford almost entirely in Arabic - a method known as the Communicative Approach - and you will find yourself making progress from the very first lesson and soon growing in the confidence to communicate in Arabic in a variety of social and business situations.

We offer Arabic courses as group sessions or on a 1:1 basis/ Most of our clients offer their employees 1:1 Arabic training, however, if planned carefully, with participants numbering 6 or less who commit to meeting every week, group sessions can be good value for money. Those who learn Arabic at Stafford on a 1:1 basis will find that they progress more quickly, as the lessons can be specifically tailored for their individual needs, strengths and weaknesses.

Arabic Course Management

Every SIMON & SIMON Arabic language course is overseen by one of our highly experienced Account Managers, all of whom are multi-lingual. At the start of your Arabic language course we will send you a profile on your trainer, followed by a Course Plan and relevant course materials, and then a Progress Report after every 40 hours of training. You will also receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, featuring a superb prize draw and invaluable weblinks to language learning sources.

SIMON & SIMON has arranged Arabic language courses for clients in numerous locations, and with our global network of language trainers we can organise a Arabic language course for you wherever you are - in almost any major city in the UK, Europe and beyond. The vast majority of our Arabic lessons take place at our clients' offices, removing the need for you to travel, but Arabic lessons can take place in your home if that is more convenient. We can also arrange full-time residential Arabic language courses for you - just contact our office for information on available destinations.

Stafford Arabic Course Schedules

We run our Arabic language courses in Stafford all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly. We also arrange weekend Arabic courses on request. Our Arabic programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Intensive 30 hour per week Arabic language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday.

Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your Arabic course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of Arabic and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on. You may desire simply to gain everyday Arabic skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in Arabic and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing. You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your Arabic for use in negotiations and meetings. Whatever your goals and needs, our highly experienced Arabic language trainers will tailor your Arabic course so that your goals will be met quickly.

Arabic Language Examination Courses

If you are taking a Arabic examination, for business or other reasons, we are happy to help you with your preparations. We are very proud of the 95% pass rate of our students in language examinations. We believe this highlights the value of working with Arabic teachers in Stafford whose experience is above average. SIMON & SIMON can also register you for your Arabic examination, administer the examination and issue you your results.

The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.

Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

Arabic is a Central Semitic language, thus related to and classified alongside other Semitic languages such as Hebrew and the Neo-Aramaic languages. Arabic has more speakers than any other language in the Semitic language family. It is spoken by more than 280 million people as a first language, most of whom live in the Middle East and North Africa. It is the official language of 22 countries and it is the liturgical language of Islam since it is the language of the Quran, the Islamic Holy Book. Arabic has many different, geographically distributed spoken varieties, some of which are mutually unintelligible. Modern Standard Arabic (sometimes called Literary Arabic) is widely taught in schools, universities, and used in workplaces, government and the media.

Stafford is the county town of Staffordshire, in the West Midlands region of England. It lies approximately 16 miles (26 km) north of Wolverhampton and 18 miles (29 km) south of Stoke-on-Trent, adjacent to the M6 motorway Junction 13 to Junction 14. The population of Stafford was given in the 2001 census as 63,681, with that of the wider borough of Stafford as 122,000, making Stafford the fourth largest settlement in the Ceremonial county, after Stoke on Trent, Tamworth and Newcastle under Lyme. Stafford means 'ford' by a 'staithe' (landing place). The original settlement was on an island in the middle of the marshes of the River Sow, a tributary of the River Trent. There is still a large area of marshland northwest of the town, which has always been subject to flooding, such as in 1947, 2000 and 2007. It's thought Stafford was founded in about 700 AD by Mercian prince called Bertelin who, according to legend, established a hermitage on a secluded marshy island. The remains of a wooden preaching cross were discovered under the foundations of St Bertelin's Church in the centre of the town.
