Arabic Courses for Business in ScarboroughPlease click a title below for further information: Private individuals and professionals in companies all over the UK have profited from undertaking a Arabic Language Course with SIMON & SIMON. Averaging 15 years of experience, our native Arabic speaking qualified teachers construct your course so that your individual requirements are met, no matter what your level of experience.
Our Arabic teachers receive excellent feedback from our clients. A profile, containing information about the Arabic teacher’s background and experience, is sent to each student before the Arabic lessons start.
If you have only studied languages before at school you will find that teaching approaches to modern language training have changed enormously in recent years - it's now a lot more fun and a far more rewarding experience!
Your teacher will conduct your Arabic lesson in Scarborough almost entirely in Arabic - a method known as the Communicative Approach - and you will find yourself making progress from the very first lesson and soon growing in the confidence to communicate in Arabic in a variety of social and business situations. We offer Arabic courses as group sessions or on a 1:1 basis/ Most of our clients offer their employees 1:1 Arabic training, however, if planned carefully, with participants numbering 6 or less who commit to meeting every week, group sessions can be good value for money.
Those who learn Arabic at Scarborough on a 1:1 basis will find that they progress more quickly, as the lessons can be specifically tailored for their individual needs, strengths and weaknesses. Arabic Course ManagementSIMON & SIMON’s Arabic language courses all have a specific Account Manager who oversee the course. Each of these managers is highly experienced and multi-lingual.
At the start of your Arabic course, you will receive a profile on your trainer, course materials and a Course Plan. After every 40 hours of training you will receive a Progress Report. We will send you our quarterly newsletter, Breaking the Language Barrier, which contains a wonderful prize draw as well as weblinks to valuable language learning resources. SIMON & SIMON’s Arabic language courses have been run for clients in many different locations. With a global network of language trainers a Arabic language course can be held in almost any major city throughout Europe and elsewhere.
We can arrange Arabic language courses in your home or, as many of our clients prefer, in your offices to remove the need for you to travel.
Full-time residential Arabic language courses are also an option. For a list of locations, please contact our office.
Scarborough Arabic Course SchedulesWe run our Arabic language courses in Scarborough all through the year. Many of our students, if work commitments allow, will attend more than one session weekly, and the vast majority take part in at least one 90-minute lesson weekly.
We also arrange weekend Arabic courses on request. Our Arabic programs commence from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday.
Intensive 30 hour per week Arabic language courses, held on clients’ premises or at residential centres in the UK or abroad, are also available on a 6 hours per day basis, Monday through Friday. Whatever your personal level of experience and future goals, your Arabic course will be customised for you. Before you start the course we will assess your level of Arabic and discuss in detail what you would like to focus on.
You may desire simply to gain everyday Arabic skills from the level of a complete beginner, or you may have more experience in Arabic and want to improve your ability to discuss banking, finance or marketing.
You may want to develop improved pronunciation and comprehension skills or improve your Arabic for use in negotiations and meetings.
Whatever your goals and needs, our highly experienced Arabic language trainers will tailor your Arabic course so that your goals will be met quickly. Arabic Language Examination CoursesIf you are taking a Arabic examination, for business or other reasons, we are happy to help you with your preparations. We are very proud of the 95% pass rate of our students in language examinations. We believe this highlights the value of working with Arabic teachers in Scarborough whose experience is above average.
SIMON & SIMON can also register you for your Arabic examination, administer the examination and issue you your results. The table below is based on recognised language levels used by various academic institutions accross the European Union. A highly motivated student attending weekly sessions with their language trainer can expect to move from one level to another after 50 hours providing they also commit to a similar number of hours of self-study.
Of course, some people find learning languages easier than others, and some students will have more opportunities to practise the language in the course of their work and leisure, so these factors also need to be considered when trying to assess how long it will take to move from one level to another.

SIMON & SIMON International Breaking the Language Barrier Back to top of Arabic Courses Scarborough Arabic is a Central Semitic language, thus related to and classified alongside other Semitic languages such as Hebrew and the Neo-Aramaic languages. Arabic has more speakers than any other language in the Semitic language family. It is spoken by more than 280 million people as a first language, most of whom live in the Middle East and North Africa. It is the official language of 22 countries and it is the liturgical language of Islam since it is the language of the Quran, the Islamic Holy Book. Arabic has many different, geographically distributed spoken varieties, some of which are mutually unintelligible. Modern Standard Arabic (sometimes called Literary Arabic) is widely taught in schools, universities, and used in workplaces, government and the media. Scarborough is a town on the North Sea coast of North Yorkshire, England. The modern town lies between 3 - 70 m (10 - 230 ft) above sea level, rising steeply northward and westward from the harbour onto limestone cliffs. The older part of the town lies around the harbour and is protected by a rocky headland. Scarborough is served by Scarborough railway station, with services from York, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool on the North TransPennine route and from Hull via Bridlington and Filey on the Yorkshire Coast Line.
With a population of around 50,000, Scarborough is the largest holiday resort on the Yorkshire coast. It is home to residential communities, business, fishing and service industries, plus a growing digital and creative economy.
Scarborough won the 2008/2009 award for the most creative and inspiring entrepreneurship initiative in Europe, and was also named as the most enterprising town in Britain in 2008.
